1 /5 Lynn Benton: Terrible, condescending, arrogant doctor. Very interested in collecting your co-pay...sending you for test...after test....after test...and never offer results or treatments. In fact today he didnt have results from blood work completed months ago, readily available & said he has incompetent staff but would get my results ASAP. Currently looking for a new doctor. Wish I had read all the reviews prior to my first appointment.

1 /5 Brian Hill: Had known pulmonary condition. Referred by Primary Care Dr. for update. First visit, Dr McKenzie was arrogant with little interest. I was given a laundry lists of tests to get and meeting was over. Office required pay in advance. Tests completed in 48 hrs however follow up was not scheduled until 5 wks later. Finally came in for follow up and immediately told he was referring me to UAB for further assessment. Dr McKenzie appeared to be in a hurry and offered no discussion. No review of test results, no assessment, nothing. When questioned, Dr Mckenzie became defensive and condescending. I asked for copies of test results for second opinion and he became more defensive. Finally asked straight question , is my condition progressive. His response was a defiant-Yes and said I had 2 years to live with my condition. Wow! If you need a CPAP machine, hes your guy. If you need a Specialist, go elsewhere. Total Clown Show! Only staff member worth anything was an Army Vet that handled check out. Primary Care Dr reviewed my test results and confirmed I was fine. Will be seeing a real Specialist in Pensacola for proper assessment and treatment recommendations.

1 /5 Karen Carden: I saw him twice, in a 12 month period. 1st visit he did a PFT, but did not go over results, talked to me for 5 minutes prescribed an inhaler medication, ordered a chest XRay. His staff said theyd call in the order for the chest XRay, and call me when appointment was made. No call. I saw him last month, wasted half my work day, for a 15 minute visit, after waiting an hour in his lobby. I think I was being punished, because I couldnt make it there 30 minutes early. One of his office people called me about 45 minutes before my appointment to say, she needed me there in about 15 minutes, because he wanted me to do another PFT! I told her I was coming from Youngstown, and couldnt make it that soon..she acted disgusted and said nevermind, and acted like it was my fault, she waited 46 minutes before my appointment time, to ask me to be there 30 minutes early! Visit was awful, he came in with some rambling rant about how hes not authorized to do disability paperwork, that had to be handled thru attorneys and the courts! I wasnt asking for disability papers, I was trying to get a remote work accomodation renewed. He refused to listen to me, blew me off, my husband tried to explain and he tried to blow him off, but my husband told him he wasnt much of a Dr and had a poor bedside manner. McKenzie got offended, said visit was over, he wasnt talking with my husband any longer! My husband left, and I stayed. McKenzie started another rambling explanation about how it he even did an accomodation paperwork, my employer would either fire me, or suspend me, or and then bring me back and make me work in their warehouse or as a janitor!! I tried to explain I worked in an office setting, no warehouse, no janitorial positions, he wasnt having any of it lmao. He ordered a sleep study, walked me out of the office. While checking out, his nurse was telling me they would schedule the titration, and when it was approved, theyd let me know, I havent heard anything from them yet. That was over a month ago. When the nurse was going over meds again, McKenzie poked his head in, said Deuces! And that he was out...very unprofessional Dr, office and staff. I will not go back! And I strongly encourage everyone to find a different pulmonologist!

1 /5 Michael White: This Dr does not have a bed side manner and speaks very condescending. Get irritated when you ask him questions. Had me on one CPAP that didnt work for me and then he says oh, that was the wrong kind. Finding a new doc today

HCA Florida Starke Emergency - Starke Lisa: Fast, efficient and caring. I had two recent visits for kidney stone attacks. Dr. Bhanji so nice and listened to me, and got my pain under control fast. RN K. H. was excellent as well, she interacted with me by talking with me trying to make me feel better and she did. Second visit was with Dr. Gillette which was great as well and the nurse "Amber" I think was good. CT Technicians was nice. Security Guards were very helpful.

Health Firsts Viera Hospital - Melbourne Rebecca Karp: I want to thank everyone at HF Viera starting with registration Lady when we first walked into the ER. I brought my sister in because she was very sick and she has stage 4 lung cancer. The lady in registration was so sweet and the triage nurse was very kind as well. This was on 1/27/25 at 2:30 in the afternoon. We had to wait a bit to go back because they were so busy. When we got back there unfortunately we were in the hallway but the staff was amazing Dr Montgomery, was quick to see my sister and start ordering test. Natalie her nurse was so busy but also so attentive, so sweet and she was working her butt off! The guy who used the ultrasound machine to get IV started was amazing unfortunately I don’t remember his name but he was very nice too. Once we found out her diagnosis she was admitted we then got a room in the ER until a bed came available. Her new nurse Christina I believe her name was, also amazing. Then the next afternoon she was moved to PCU her nurse Jen also great! Transport guy my very kind and caring too. All I can say is the care my sister received was amazing even though they were so busy! All the doctors were very helpful and kept me informed of her condition. Keep up the great work and thank you for being so kind and caring to my sister and us!

Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital Emergency Room - Melbourne Taylor Colvard: I had a seizure with my son in the car and flipped into a ditch long story short. I had another seizure a while in there and they took amazing care of me and then when I ran out of my medication and had to go back Doctor who was there the first time when we were there again to get more seizure medication and they were so quick to help me get more I am forever greatful that the ambulance took me to this hospital and not Holmes considering I was treated with nothing but dignity and respect during my whole time there and anytime I’ve been to Homes regional I’ve been treated like I was an alien and on top of that homes regional as a reason my mom is not alive anymore so I recommend 100 out of 10, thank y’all again for everything.

Health Firsts Holmes Regional Medical Center - Melbourne Lizbeth Morancy: Good evening, I had to take time to write this review. It saddens me to even have to write this review because writing this makes me relive the incident. My best friend’s mother was hospitalized at Holmes Regional Medical Center located in Melbourne, FL. On January 25th, 2025, I took a visit to the hospital to drop in and check in on my friend’s mother. When I walked into the hospital room, I was uneasy and bothered by the conditions she was in. There was a pile of dirty/soiled linens balled up in a corner, her food tray seemed as if it had been sitting out for a while, her wedge pillow that should have been propping her up was thrown under the bed, my friend’s mother head was uncomfortably propped by pillows, and she disgustingly soiled. Which seemed as if she had been lying in it for a while. I then walked over to the nurse station desk, which was located right across the door, and I asked the nurse can I someone report to her room so she could get changed. The nurse then replied, “I’ll call someone”. Granted I understand hospitals are very busy and it’s not based off waiting on you by hand and foot BUT that someone reporting to the room took 45 to 50 mins. When the nurse finally arrived, we waited another 20 min so she could receive help turning the patient over to get her cleaned up. After waiting 20 min I offered to help because I could not have her sitting in all that mess a minute longer. After getting her changed I asked the nurse when the last time was when she had got changed? and the nurse responded, “this morning around 6am or 7am”. Mind you we are now around approximately 2:30 pm. I asked the nurse to place the wedge pillow under her and to rotate it often so that she can prevent bed sores. I raise awareness to the food tray lying around. The nurse responded, “I didn’t know she needed assistance feeding” the nurse exits the room. I then began tidying up, disinfecting, and making sure the room was in better condition. I asked the nurses for clean linen to change out the dirty ones he was covering with. I gave my friend’s mother water and when I say she was THIRSTY! She drank two full cups. Just to take you back a bit my friend’s mother can’t feed herself nor drink by herself. She requires assistance. Based off how chapped her lips were, and how she was saying how thirsty she was and needed water, it lets me know this hospital clearly needs more staff. There was another lady in the room with her (her roommate) and the roommate’s son was there. While waiting for the nurse earlier he stated how he had to wait 1 hour to get anyone to clean his mother because she was lying in feces. This is disheartening, just imagine the patients that don’t have anyone to check in and make sure they are doing well. I couldn’t imagine what happened to them. These days a lot of people go into a field for money not because they love what they do anymore. Becoming a nurse nowadays is more so part of a trend to make money. A lot of concerns fall on deaf ears. It’s not their loved ones being mistreated, neglected, and ignored. Take note of this review and take heed. My friend’s mother is in bad shape. The way she came into the hospital Is not how she left or was any better. My friend had to get her mom out of there because if not she would have died God forbid. UNDERSTAND I ONLY GAVE 1 STAR TO POST THIS REVIEW. THIS HOSPITAL NEEDS TO BE AUDITED THOROUGHLY.

Kindred Hospital Melbourne - Melbourne Kimberly Sibole: My mother had to be placed after surgery for iv antibiotics and a wound vac. This place was exceptional, the ENTIRE team do rounds on a weekly, the Drs do rounds daily and the care was the best. After spending 3 months in a skilled nursing facility and almost died it was a comfort having my mother at Kindred. Thank you for taking good care of my mother for the 3 weeks she was their.

Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital - Melbourne Dawn Lara: These people were amazing!!! Ive had AFib at least 9 times in two different states, 4 hospitals. This was, BY FAR, the best experience Ive had in a hospital. I checked into the ER at 730a and was out by 11 am, with defibrillation! Usually, it takes 4 days. They had me laughing and cutting up the whole time. Shout out to MENurses-Matt (intake), Ryan, Erick, Taylor, and the X-ray guy with the A+, #1 curtsy! Thanks for fixing me up; even if I didnt get superpowers on my 8th defibrillaton! And Orlando Health, please reward this team with some new equipment. Added picture of the "Emergency 51" defibrillator; which still works great, BTW!

Dr Bleese - Melbourne Elizabeth Diaz de Villegas: I had a fractured patella several years ago, when I was visiting the area. Dr. Bleese performed my surgery and I couldnt have been luckier to find him. I am fully recuperated and feel great. Always remember how blessed I was to have him be there for me.

Primary Care of Brevard - Melbourne Lorri Vetrano: I wasn’t sure what I was going to do after my primary physician went to another practice, however I am very glad that I stayed to see the new doctor, Dr. Rankin. She is very thorough, warm & compassionate. She takes her patients seriously & explains everything in a manner I am able to understand. Dr. Rankin has also been one of my biggest cheerleaders. Sheena is also great & always follows up promptly when responding to questions & providing test results. We have also seen Lori who is a great Nurse Practitioner. Lori is also very caring & warm and always takes great care of us! Thank you to you all!
