2 /5 Kevin Cedik: I am new to the area (within the past year) and my wife and I became new patients. We have not had very good luck thus far with this office.
Insurance Issues: For some reason, when billing sends to the insurance, they are listed as a specialist and you will have to pay the larger co-pay. I checked with my insurance on it, and it is all up to how the doctors office is submitting it. After addressing it with the Dr. office, there is still no resolution and the doctors office still submits it as a specialist rather than as a primary care physician.
Customer Service and Support Staff Issues: Additionally, they are not good at scheduling appointments or organization. My wife had an appointment at 8am, when she arrived she was told the doctor was in a meeting and could not see her until 9am. Double booking the doctor and pushing the patient off is not very good customer service. My wife could not stay and asked for a refund of the co-pay she already paid. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, the staff was more irritated that we just did not reschedule. They advised us that they tried to reach out to us and could not reach us. However our phone number had just been updated the previous week with the office so everything was up to date. They indicated that they tried to contact me instead, but when we challenged that, they noticed they did not even have a phone number for me. So clearly they lied to help cover up their own mistake. The administration support staff at this office needs more organizational training. We are searching for a new doctor.
