2 /5 Maegan Powers: I have been coming here for about 3 years but most recently this practice definitely lacks respectful and professional associates. I never had any issues, dentist were amazing. Front desk was always great up until recently. I had made an appointment about 2 months ago for a deep cleaning, I asked how much it would be with my insurance they advised someone would get back to me. Called again, they still didn’t know. Finally I had to call the day of my appointment to confirm the price to make sure I even had the money & finally someone had a price. When I told them I would have to cancel because I didn’t know it would be that much & someone from there practice dropped the ball with providing me pricing prior to the day - there response was I would be charged a $50 no show fee. I explained the situation & was transferred to someone and they said they would take it off. Fast forward to today - I call to make my appointment and the girl states there a note on my account about $50 that has to be paid. Once again explain the whole situation and she places me on hold for about 5 min. After that someone picks up rude saying how can I help you, I said I’m not sure I was on hold waiting for the lady to come back. She said well she transferred you to me, how can I help you (in a rude tone) explain the situation once more for her to ignore me and say so do you want the appt for Friday or not. I said if I don’t have to pay the fee that someone there said they would take off yes. She proceeded to say I needed to pay the $50 to be seen. I let her know I will be finding a new dentist because they are rude and very unprofessional with a lack of understanding. Sad to have to find a new dentist, but I refuse to be treated that way.

Weve been going to Dr Doug for many years & will always do so. Today it was Alexa the hygenist: Gently inspecting & checking for anything suspicious. Found a cavity! My fault, Ive missed appointments... 5 Stars to NTD & STAFF!

JanREBEL: The receptionist was pleasant. I was taken to get x-rays near my appointment time. The dental assistant was friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Boeras aka Dr. B was also friendly and thorough. I have another appointment next week. UPDATE I returned to have a tooth removed by Dr. B. The front desk through the dental assistants were warm and welcoming. I was made comfortable by the dental assistants telling me each step they were taking. When I was prepped, Dr. B entered with a uplifting voice. In a few injections to numb the area and a couple of minutes for the effect to be achieved, I was ready. Within a few minutes of my tooths root resisting, my tooth was removed. This was the best tooth extraction I have ever had. Thanks to all!

Justin Clayton: I came in complaining of one particular tooth that was causing me pain and In terms of my visit itself, the staff was friendly and fast. My teeth are jacked and nobody made me feel uncomfortable about my situation even the dr was polite and seemingly caring. But when it came to the treatment plan and financing Joanna was terrible to work with. Disclaimer I have a dentist in the family across the country and I was being charged things in the treatment plan that were according to my family member "completely unnecessary " I advised Tampa palms it was self pay as my dental insurance kind of sucks and my assumption is they threw more items in there. Then when it came time to come up with a plan of action Joanna was like a freaking shark she was asking me how much money I had in my savings (mind your own business, if I can afford the treatment Ill decide that on my own) she also advised me to apply for financing I told her I wanted to discuss with my wife first to which she told me" if you apply in office I can see about working with the DR about working within your approval amount" seemed helpful but no discounts were given after applying so she essentially lied to me and now I have an open line of credit that I wouldnt have applied for had she not made empty promises, also the tooth I went in to get taken care of never even got addressed or mentioned again until I complained about it to Joanna(I opted not to get the work done there anyways after speaking with her). Needless to say Im exploring other offices.
