When I told them I couldnt afford the $49,000 loan they then tried to get me to put $5,000 down and processed the loan for $44,000. I told them I still couldnt afford it and THEY SAID I was under NO OBLIGATION but NOW ARE TRYING TO CHARGE ME $1300 after refunding $42,700. THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NO WORK ON MY MOUTH!!! NEVER MENTIONED ANY DIAGNOSTIC CHARGES BUT BILLED ME $1300.00. THIS OFFICE IS MISLEADING AND VERY DISHONEST!!! Had to leave 1 star to post this review.
Aspen Dental - Ocala, FL (Silver Springs) - Ocala Nikasice C: If you have an entire day to waste and don’t mind having your time disrespected, then this is the place for you. I had a 9:00 AM appointment and was told when I scheduled it that if the hygienist had time after my X-rays, they would fit me in for a cleaning. Two hours later, I was still waiting—no doctor had seen me, and no cleaning had been done. I had been sitting so long that my tailbone began to hurt. I eventually had to walk out without being seen and go home to take something for the pain.
Aspen Dental in Tampa has never treated me with this little respect. I’d rather drive for hours to be treated fairly than deal with an office like this one—especially when it’s just 10 minutes from home is very sad.
Christie Dental at Paddock Park - Ocala Andrew Lown: Front desk personnel friendly and knowledgeable. Minimal waiting time to see my hygienist. My new hygienist, Conny, professional, provided answers to all my questions,, and provided excellent care.
My dentist, Dr. Al is excellent. Provides great care, and understanding of patient needs.

And most importantly the dentist who saw me was compassionate and kind and managed to fix my broken denture in under 2 hours at a reasonable price. Smiles at Heathbrook - Ocala susan chen: This is the first review I’ve ever written, but this experience compelled me to share. I used to visit this dental office regularly for all my dental needs—deep cleanings, crowns, everything. I even brought my husband here. However, my most recent interactions have been deeply disappointing.
When I last called to schedule an appointment, I had a few questions about the procedure. Instead of providing clear answers, the staff responded with a rushed, dismissive, and condescending tone, as if I were a bother for asking. They used dental jargon I didn’t understand, and when I inquired about pricing, they brushed me off as though I didn’t care, or even possibly that couldn’t afford it. I left that call feeling disrespected but chose not to leave a review at the time. Not too long after, the office called me to schedule a checkup. I took that opportunity, not to make an appointment, but to express my concerns about my previous experience. They never followed up on my complaint.
Six months passed, and I decided to give them another chance. When I called to make an appointment, the staff asked me for my name and other information. Instead of welcoming me back (maybe welcoming back is a stretch for this office, they didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I wanted to make another appointment), they responded with something along the lines of, “You’ve already had a bad experience here before…” almost as if they were trying to make it clear they didn’t want me as a patient. When I said “if you guys don’t want to take me back, that’s fine”, I was met with silence—an answer in itself.
What’s most concerning is that they had left a note on my file about my complaint but never once reached out to address it. Instead of resolving the issue, they chose to use it to push me away.
For anyone considering this office: While I can’t convey the full extent of the condescension I experienced, I can confidently say that no part of this was a misunderstanding. Either multiple employees here are consistently having bad days, or this behavior is a pattern.
To Smiles at Heathbrook: You are not the only dentist in Ocala. Please hold your staff accountable. Professionalism and basic respect should not be too much to ask. Treat patients the way you’d want to be treated
B Dental - Ocala Barry Weinberger: Excellent professional service. I had an infected tooth and was scheduled for the same day. The dentist and the staff were vey personable and professional with everything taken care of then with no follow-up appointment needed. I would highly recommend.
Coast Dental - Ocala Nancy Aungst: This place is great. We just moved here from Az. I HATE GETTING NEW DENTIST. Everyone here was great. From Timothy the front office to the Dr.. I had my teeth cleaned. I HATE THAT Im 70 and have A.D.D. I always use the gas. I couldnt here. I dreaded it. But Dr.Mamue ( sp?) Absolutely shocked me. No Nitris but I experiance almost NO PAIN. THE VERY FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. And he was fast and personable. They should give him a raise. Im not kidding, this guys amazing. I was so thankful. I even had to have a shot in my mouth and never felt it. The assistant who took my x-rays there was great too. I liked everyone there. Its a small but comfortable place and I am so excited to actually not dread my twice a year cleanings. Check them out.
