When I started to have a dental issue this week I called around and Dr Larson was recommended. I called and explained my situation and they got me in as quickly as possible and took care of my problem. I have decided to continue on there Wonderful people from the front desk to the back. I left the building feeling like they cared.

1 /5 Gabriel Martinez Babino: Front Desk and Nurse were nice but the dentist is very unprofessional. Be careful, they will say you need an expensive treatment just to squeeze money out of you. Never come here they dont care whats best for you and want to scam you! After I told them I was not willing to pay for a service they offered a 25% discount on it. What kind of practice offers random discounts? Ones that are trying to scam you and get any money they can instead of treating patients correctly.

I was nervous when I first got there, but the nurse assured me theres nothing to be nervous about. I really appreciate the whole staff that worked with me.

I used to visit this dental office regularly for all my dental needs—deep cleanings, crowns, everything. I even brought my husband here. However, my most recent interactions have been deeply disappointing. When I last called to schedule an appointment, I had a few questions about the procedure. Instead of providing clear answers, the staff responded with a rushed, dismissive, and condescending tone, as if I were a bother for asking. They used dental jargon I didn’t understand, and when I inquired about pricing, they brushed me off as though I didn’t care, or even possibly that couldn’t afford it. I left that call feeling disrespected but chose not to leave a review at the time. Not too long after, the office called me to schedule a checkup. I took that opportunity, not to make an appointment, but to express my concerns about my previous experience. They never followed up on my complaint. Six months passed, and I decided to give them another chance. When I called to make an appointment, the staff asked me for my name and other information. Instead of welcoming me back (maybe welcoming back is a stretch for this office, they didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I wanted to make another appointment), they responded with something along the lines of, “You’ve already had a bad experience here before…” almost as if they were trying to make it clear they didn’t want me as a patient. When I said “if you guys don’t want to take me back, that’s fine”, I was met with silence—an answer in itself. What’s most concerning is that they had left a note on my file about my complaint but never once reached out to address it. Instead of resolving the issue, they chose to use it to push me away. For anyone considering this office: While I can’t convey the full extent of the condescension I experienced, I can confidently say that no part of this was a misunderstanding. Either multiple employees here are consistently having bad days, or this behavior is a pattern. To Smiles at Heathbrook: You are not the only dentist in Ocala. Please hold your staff accountable. Professionalism and basic respect should not be too much to ask. Treat patients the way you’d want to be treated

Nancy Aungst: This place is great. We just moved here from Az. I HATE GETTING NEW DENTIST. Everyone here was great. From Timothy the front office to the Dr.. I had my teeth cleaned. I HATE THAT Im 70 and have A.D.D. I always use the gas. I couldnt here. I dreaded it. But Dr.Mamue ( sp?) Absolutely shocked me. No Nitris but I experiance almost NO PAIN. THE VERY FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. And he was fast and personable. They should give him a raise. Im not kidding, this guys amazing. I was so thankful. I even had to have a shot in my mouth and never felt it. The assistant who took my x-rays there was great too. I liked everyone there. Its a small but comfortable place and I am so excited to actually not dread my twice a year cleanings. Check them out.

A few years ago, I underwent dental treatment with her, and it was a truly pleasant experience thanks to the advanced technology she uses and the personalized care she provides. To protect the graft, I was given a clear retainer that allowed me to eat without fear of food getting into the treated area. This gave me great peace of mind during recovery. She also safely removed my old amalgam fillings and replaced them with BPA-free, non-toxic white fillings. Additionally, she covered my exposed roots to prevent further damage. I had many dental issues that no one had explained to me before with such clarity. Paulette Jabot: The staff was very nice. I cant say anything negative about anyone working there. This is unfortunately no different then going to a used car dealership. They try to add things to my bill before I was even seen. I told them I would not pay for any extras. Then after the exam I was told I needed almost $2500 for ridiculous items they wanted to do. Ive gone to the dentist every 6 months and have had no issues. I tried this place and suddenly I have lots of issues they can fix...nothing is covered by insurance of course. I would stay away from this place. Not a honest dentist. Just a organized money grab.
