4 /5 Britta Strzalko: Very neat place for a walk! There are several parking lots and the one by the canopy building seems like the easiest way to get to the walk amongst the mangroves. We walked the long way and it was a nice gravel path with little shade. Got super hot quick! Bring water if you plan to spend a lot of time there. The canopy is SUPER cool. Nice free activity for the kids to run around.

5 /5 Alex Hill: One of my favorite preserves in Florida. So many amazing trails. Super kid friendly. Has the ropes course thing for kids that’s super cute and fun! I love this place.

5 /5 Michel Remacle: Great place to see. Nice walk around the preserve. We say a coyote, dolphins, many birds, a ton of crabs, a dark red snake. Got bit by mosquitoes. The tower has great views. Would go again.

5 /5 Bo: Free access. Great place to ride your bike or go for a walk. I rode my bike here today for an hour and still could have explored more of the trail. Lots of offshoot trails to explore. Passed lots of people fishing and walking. Speed limit is 10mph. Beautiful views. Big parking lot, so room for vans and trucks. The parking lot is narrow, though, so its not really suitable for bigger RVs. Clean porto potty / restroom in parking lot. As far as wildlife, I didnt see much. A lizard and a couple of types of birds. Its still a beautiful place though!

Family Heritage House Museum - Bradenton Jade T-W: Really really Great collection of African American history! Just in case you didnt know though its located within the library so you have to go to the second floor. Just so you dont get lost!

Lighthouse at Heritage Harbour - Bradenton Davetta Ploughe: Doesnt seem like a true lighthouse not when weve seen real ones on the coast. This is more like a replica sitting on a tiny tiny pond. The coolest part was we seen a alligator about 8 ft long. Thank goodness it was free to look at cause you sure couldnt go in.

Tom Bennett Park - Bradenton Joseph Flesche: This park has been renovated recently (based on the other reviews, within the past year). I was mainly there for the calisthenics park but noticed that the childrens park right next door was amazing. I highly recommend it!

Manatee Mineral Spring Park - Bradenton Miss Priss: This is a great park to visit. Lots of parking space. We did a little fishing there. Theres a small dock with two benches for seating but no shade anywhere for fishing. My only complaint would be theres such a long walk to get to the ponds for fishing. If youre taking lots of equipment, bring a wagon.

Portosueno Park - Bradenton Saska Madilka: Very lovely place.. and My dream came true here, to see manatees.. ❤️ few people stopped by and confirmed that captain from their boat cruises do formed that this is the place where you can most probably spot these lovely creatures in this area❤️

Emerson Point Preserve - Palmetto Brenda Barber: I love to ride my bike there. Speed bumps keep cars slow. Walking trails, drive to sit on the beach for great sunsets. I need to try kayaking. Rentals available. Its a preserve so be respectful to the environment. Free to enter.

Lake Manatee State Park - Bradenton Jennifer Eastburn: Lake Manatee State Park is a hidden gem! The park is on the smaller side, which actually makes it feel more peaceful and easy to explore. Everything was super clean and well-maintained. We really enjoyed the beach-style swimming area—it was perfect for a relaxing day by the water. There are plenty of picnic spots and the trails were clearly marked and nicely cleared. We’ll definitely be going back!

From start to finish, everything was full of fun, laughter, and unforgettable moments. The float was packed with exciting features — slides, trampolines, and room to relax — making it perfect for all ages. Captain Bams and the crew were beyond amazing: friendly, professional, and made everyone feel safe and welcome. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in every detail. If youre visiting Bradenton, this is an absolute must-do. Thank you for the incredible memories — we’ll definitely be back!
