Technicians determined it was the torque converter, and required a fluid change and additional additive to fix! Excellent service, friendly technicians, kept me informed and appreciative of the promptness of the repair and f/u call ! ! My Yukon runs better than new! Highly recommend Ron’s Auto Service! 5 /5 Ditchfield Katy (Upliftingsmiles): Reliable and honest! We brought our 15-year-old Honda Odyssey to them. It had more issues than we initially realized, but they were great throughout the process. They took pictures, explained things in great detail, provided options, etc. Matt and Sean were very helpful and Ron himself reached out to give us great tips about preventative maintenance and what to expect with our aging vehicle moving forward. Pricing was fair and transparent. The communication is excellent and they dont "sell" you on anything - they just provide you with all the information, make recommendations, and give you time if you need to think it over and weigh your options. High marks for communication, honesty, transparency, and of course mechanic work!

5 /5 Lindsey Ells: I’m in town from NW Florida, visiting some family, and my brakes were making a concerning noise. Rather than drive back 6 hours with young children, I wanted to play it safe and get it checked. Ron’s was awesome - they said I simply needed to fix a stuck caliper and new grease on the four brakes. Didn’t try to tell me I needed new pads or rotors or cheat me out of $ for services I didn’t need. They were honest and communicative and quick. I would recommend them to anyone!!

5 /5 Gary OBrien: Recently took my car for a problem with intermittent starting issues... unable to reproduce the problem with any regularity; it would start 98% of the time but the other 2% would either struggle or simply not turn over... since the issue couldnt be duplicated easily, it makes troubleshooting difficult. My guess was either the starter or the solenoid (which I believe on an Kia Optima is actually part of the starter)... Stopped by on Tuesday to discuss and see about getting Rons to take a look. They were able to get me an appointment for Thursday, so pretty convenient considering how busy they always appear to be. Left the car on Thursday morning, got a call early afternoon that while unable to completely recreate the issue, they felt like it was indeed the starter. Got a quote for this to be replaced along with brake service that also needed done... while more than I *wanted* to spend, the quote was equal to or less than I was quoted elsewhere for same and for what I was expecting (translation... I do not feel like I was ripped off, as some places are known for). Could not complete work until the following day, due to getting necessary parts but this was okay and expected. Car was ready early afternoon Friday. So far, go good. Positives -- friendly, courteous and knowledgeable service advisors; able to get service done in a timely manner; prices were at least in-line, if not better than, other repair shops including dealership Con -- only a slight, minor one... I had to call on Friday to get an update, would have appreciated a little more proactive approach on when car would be ready So, all in all... Id give Rons 4.9 out of 5 but can only leave 4 or 5 stars so lets just round it up and enjoy the weekend! Thank you very much!
