Im so in love with color and cut. He didnt just cut and color and send me on my way. He kept checking with me to make sure I was happy, that I was getting the cut I wanted. On my way out another customer complimented me on my hair. Everyone was very polite, attentive, courteous and friendly. Im definitely going to become a regular customer.

5 /5 Maryann Knox: When I first entered Salon Volo, I was greeted promptly and made to feel very welcome. Christine was wonderful beyond words. She really took her time and listen to me and made me feel relaxed and comfortable. When I got there my hair was in bad shape. I had received a terrible haircut more than a year before at a different Salon. I was nervous that my hair was beyond help. But Christine performed magic and when she was done I felt like a new woman and immediately regained confidence in my appearance. I love my hair! Christine is my forever stylist and Salon Volo the only salon I will go to. I have recommended her and the salon to my family and friends. Thank you Christine for making me feel better and more confident. I love my hair!

Marina Margarites: This is the third salon I’ve tried in St Pete and by far the best experience I’ve had in the 2+ years I’ve lived here. The space itself was clean and inviting. The staff were very friendly and it just felt like an elevated salon. My stylist, Jayla, was really knowledgeable not just about hair care but also about the products she used and gave me knowledge about why they could benefit my hair type. She was very thorough and gave a great shampoo, cut and style. I will definitely be coming back and this is for sure my new staple salon!! Definitely recommend and loved the ease to be able to book online.

mckenna shanholtz: LISTEN UP GUYS! If you need a hair salon in St Pete….This is your place. And Jen is your girl!! I moved from Chicago a year ago and haven’t found a nice salon since I have moved. Everyone seems so over priced, and a bit rude & not what I was looking for. Until I found this place & Jen! She is a hair stylist here and she is now my hair stylist for as long as I live in St Pete! My hair is brown, and I get blonde highlights. I haven’t had it in a while since I couldn’t find anyone to do it.. but she did such an amazing job. And more importantly, she was the most kind person I have met. Even after getting my hair done, a few weeks later I was leaving for a vacation and wanted to get some toner in my hair to lighten it a bit more. She came in early to meet with me and do it. She makes me feel very comfortable and confident. She’s also extremely knowledgeable as she has been doing this a very long time! This is my second review ever… so It takes a lot for me to leave a good review!! But this salon and Jen deserves it! Thank you so much and can’t wait for my next appointment in 2 months:)

Kierra Casimir: If you are African American with natural hair this is NOT the place for you. I came here for a deep condition, trim and blowout. Rosa was the stylist that did my hair. She was a nice lady but had no idea what she was doing. She was very rough while washing my hair and did not know how to detangle it. Since it was not properly detangled it was difficult to blow it out. Multiple times she burned me on accident while doing my hair. I told the receptionist about my experience and informed her I would never come back. Before the appointment I asked if they know how to do natural hair and was told yes they can. It is a disservice to say you can do natural hair when it is far from the truth. I advised the receptionist to not allow Rosa to do anyone else with natural hair because it is evident she cannot properly do it and does harm to the customer. My experience and others with natural hair who left a review about Rosa, shows she should not be doing African American natural hair. Allow it to be a warning before booking. When I got home I noticed my hair was not trimmed properly and my hair suffered severe heat damage. I now have to cut my hair. I cried so much. Please do not go here. If you decide to book an appointment and you are African American with natural hair, do not allow Rosa to do your hair. She is a sweet woman but she doesn’t know how to do our hair. I normally don’t leave reviews but I had to so no one else makes the same mistake as I did.

I’ve always left happy and will continue to go back! I love how she cuts my hair, styles it, colors it, and listens to my preferences. I also love getting a Brazilian blowout from her! Such a welcoming salon and very fair prices.
