5 /5 Hailey Petry: Gabbie is heaven sent!!! After hesitating for years to find a stylist in the area, I gave Saturn Salon a shot. I had been making the commute back to my hometown stylist prior. Gabbie was incredibly meticulous with my hair and took her time making sure every section from top to bottom was perfect. I left her chair feeling better about my hair than I have in a very long time and I am truly excited to see her again. I can’t recommend her more, she is such sweet soul who knows what she’s doing when it comes to hair!

Some backstory- I’ve been bleaching my hair for 10+ years, in the last year I’ve been growing it out, and within the last couple weeks I’ve decided it was time to ditch the blonde and get back to my roots. Even with my growth, I was still very hesitant and overwhelmed with the change but Eireann was very supportive and knew exactly what to do. When she was finished I was in AWE... My hair also feels and looks the healthiest it’s ever been. She blended everything perfectly, which gives it dimension and a natural look. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Thank you to Eireann and the Saturn Team.

5 /5 Gabrielle Doppenberg: This salon is so cute and trendy, I’m obsessed with the vibes. Every time I have gone to see Rachel, she has continued to outdo herself. She is the most kind and helpful hair stylist I have been to. Her blonding/balayage skills are top notch, so much so that I drive around 2 hours to get to her. Thanks for always making me feel beautiful!

She is also so great with long and short cuts. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my hair…highly recommend!

The salon has a wonderful atmosphere, fair pricing, and Marilin gave me helpful information, she was very kind and knowledgeable. And she does men’s hair! I’ve been living in the Tampa area for 3 years and have tried a couple other stylists, none of them achieved what Marilin could. She’s a keeper!

REVOLUTION9 Salon - St. Petersburg Marina Margarites: This is the third salon I’ve tried in St Pete and by far the best experience I’ve had in the 2+ years I’ve lived here. The space itself was clean and inviting. The staff were very friendly and it just felt like an elevated salon. My stylist, Jayla, was really knowledgeable not just about hair care but also about the products she used and gave me knowledge about why they could benefit my hair type. She was very thorough and gave a great shampoo, cut and style. I will definitely be coming back and this is for sure my new staple salon!! Definitely recommend and loved the ease to be able to book online.

She did a fantastic job touching up my roots with full blonde highlights, and she was very efficient and kind. Aqua Salon - St. Petersburg mckenna shanholtz: LISTEN UP GUYS! If you need a hair salon in St Pete….This is your place. And Jen is your girl!! I moved from Chicago a year ago and haven’t found a nice salon since I have moved. Everyone seems so over priced, and a bit rude & not what I was looking for. Until I found this place & Jen! She is a hair stylist here and she is now my hair stylist for as long as I live in St Pete! My hair is brown, and I get blonde highlights. I haven’t had it in a while since I couldn’t find anyone to do it.. but she did such an amazing job. And more importantly, she was the most kind person I have met. Even after getting my hair done, a few weeks later I was leaving for a vacation and wanted to get some toner in my hair to lighten it a bit more. She came in early to meet with me and do it. She makes me feel very comfortable and confident. She’s also extremely knowledgeable as she has been doing this a very long time! This is my second review ever… so It takes a lot for me to leave a good review!! But this salon and Jen deserves it! Thank you so much and can’t wait for my next appointment in 2 months:)

Marilyns Hair Salon - St. Petersburg Kierra Casimir: If you are African American with natural hair this is NOT the place for you. I came here for a deep condition, trim and blowout. Rosa was the stylist that did my hair. She was a nice lady but had no idea what she was doing. She was very rough while washing my hair and did not know how to detangle it. Since it was not properly detangled it was difficult to blow it out. Multiple times she burned me on accident while doing my hair. I told the receptionist about my experience and informed her I would never come back. Before the appointment I asked if they know how to do natural hair and was told yes they can. It is a disservice to say you can do natural hair when it is far from the truth. I advised the receptionist to not allow Rosa to do anyone else with natural hair because it is evident she cannot properly do it and does harm to the customer. My experience and others with natural hair who left a review about Rosa, shows she should not be doing African American natural hair. Allow it to be a warning before booking. When I got home I noticed my hair was not trimmed properly and my hair suffered severe heat damage. I now have to cut my hair. I cried so much. Please do not go here. If you decide to book an appointment and you are African American with natural hair, do not allow Rosa to do your hair. She is a sweet woman but she doesn’t know how to do our hair. I normally don’t leave reviews but I had to so no one else makes the same mistake as I did.
