I got SCAMMED at Welch’s Auto Repair.

    Kendra Dix: John saved my life!!!! I was at Ginnie Springs and needed a new battery. No ubers. No Lyft’s. Not even AAA would come due to new Covid restrictions. I would of been totally screwed if he didn’t come out with a new battery. He was very polite and professional. The cost was fair. It took him about an hour and a half to get to me. Took him about 30 mins to change my battery and he replaced my car relay in my fuse box. He even let me wait and charge it for a bit because I was afraid to part ways and then be screwed if I stopped at a gas station. I don’t know what I would of done without him because I lived two hours away! Highly recommend.

My daughter was told by both, the Ford dealership and Goodyear that she had coolant leaking into her engine and that her car was essentially junk (the motor needed replaced) and not worth fixing. They made it sound like her only option was to replaced the engine...OUCH! Thankfully, we decided to get one more opinion—and that changed everything. Honest 1 did a thorough diagnostic and quickly discovered that the issues were nothing like what the other shops claimed. The repairs were completely manageable and very reasonably priced. They explained everything clearly and treated my daughter with respect instead of trying to scare her into replacing the engine. Shame on the local Ford dealership and Goodyear for trying to take advantage of my daughter. True to their name, Honest 1 saved her car—and saved us from making a huge, unnecessary decision. We won’t go anywhere else from now on. I couldnt recommend them more! Thank you!!

My son is about to purchase a BMW and we will DEFINITELY be bringing it here if it needs work done. Its a family owned operation and that comes through in their customer service.
