1 /5 Sharnette Hollowell: I hate to write this review as the dentist hygienist is amazing. She is wonderful. However, office staff is unprofessional, and useless. I scheduled a cleaning 6 months in advance. Only for them to call me the morning of the appointment 9:45am left a message to confirm. I called at 10:08am they already cancelled my appointment and shared they have a new policy which I wasn’t aware of that I need to confirm. I have never missed an appointment and I admit calling them back hasn’t been a focus since I wasn’t aware that I had to confirm. They wanted me to reschedule for months later, which wasn’t an option for me since I had an appointment.

1 /5 LaMer K: I write very few reviews but felt a responsibility to agree with the sentiments of the negative reviews here. First the good: women at the front desk were lovely, hygienists were very nice and seemed thorough. Unfortunately the dentist here is by far the worst I have encountered in my life. Money first, care second was the vibe. If you have a few questions or concerns (like why the out-of-pocket costs in your treatment plan includes items that your insurance covers) get ready to be dismissed. Just completely arrogant, unprofessional and appalling behavior.

1 /5 Sarah Hogan: I’ve been trying to reach Smile Design Dentistry in St. Petersburg for months, and no one ever answers the phone. I’ve also tried their online chat multiple times to pay an outstanding bill, but still no response. Messages don’t seem to get relayed or followed up on, making it nearly impossible to get any assistance. This is not how a business should be run, especially one in healthcare. Extremely frustrating experience—if you value customer service and communication, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

1 /5 Lauren: This place is awful. I dont even want to give it a one star. I went in and waited, they could barely do X-rays on me because of my mouth condition (not their fault). Ultimately they said I need to go to a dentist with sedation when I asked for a referral they couldn’t give me one. I asked the dentist why she couldn’t give me a referral if this is her expertise. Rudely she responded "well why havent you been able to find a dentist to help you?". Anyways for that 2 sentence interaction I was charged $375, (even thought they told me my insurance covered it initially). ultimately I got my tooth removed for $215 somewhere else. I have NEVER been treated that bad or been to a medical professional that could not refer me to someone else. The only people that were helpful here were the front desk, they knew way more about other practices in the area. If you want to waste money, be treated like absolute crap by a medical professional, please check this place out!

I really enjoyed the experience the ladies at the front desk Jessica , Chisom Mila are friendly, knowledgeable, extremely professional they made my appointment a very pleasant one! Shout out To the entire team as well accommodating me even though I was late!! My new home for all my dental work 5 stars!
