4 /5 deirdre haynes: I was born and raised in this church. I have seen 5 pastors in my 42 years. Our current pastor is a native of nigeria and is an elder in the united methodist church. He is an imperfect man but a phenomenal teacher of the word. There will be no theatrics, no whootin n hollering, but if you come with an open heart to receive, you will be blessed. I am the leader of the girl scout troop that calls st john home. We have many ministries that you can find yourself nourished by as you too nourish and enrich the lives of others.
