  • E-Clips and Co - Fernandina Beach Andrea Coins: Elaine is fantastic! I’ve been getting my hair done with her for over 3 years now and she never disappoints! 100% recommend!! She’s worth every penny!
The Salty Blonde Hair Studio & Merle Norman Cosmetics - Fernandina Beach TheSpeckledFreckle: Delta was amazing! I needed a place that could do a bridal updo, and she got me in to do my and my brothers hair for my wedding and it couldnt have been more perfect. Thank you for a great experience for my most perfect day!
K&Co The Salon - Fernandina Beach Maggie Sardina: I scheduled an appointment to try and get my hair platinum blonde. Overall the several days before my appointment I received a few reminders (enough to keep track of the days but not too many to be annoying) which was very good considering that I can be forgetful at times. Kristen was my stylist that day, and did an amazing and efficient job in communicating and keeping up with conversation as the time passed. She was very honest with what could be achieved that day. My hair was dyed a ginger/strawberry blonde prior and she made sure to let me know that I may not be able to lift to what I wanted in one appointment, and was able to come up with several alternative options. Because she is a professional, I knew not to fight the process and try and be as flexible as possible as she knows much more than I do about maintaining the integrity of hair. We decided on doing a color correct that day to lift as much brassiness as she could to get closer to what I wanted. She also mentioned a few times throughout the appointment that it would be recommended to cut a good amount of my hair to cut off all the damage. Again, I agreed. I was not planning on cutting my hair, and I was a bit iffy on having a short cut, but in the end I’d rather have new, healthy hair than keep what I had. I was shocked to see how much damaged hair I actually had! Although I was on a time crunch before work, she was able to do a whole lot in one session to make sure I left satisfied. I am extremely thankful that Kristen was able to get all of it done in a timely manner and give helpful recommendations. Like I said, I was never usually on board with having short hair, but after I left, I’ve been really happy with it ever since! I’m looking forward to my next appointment here.
Its All About You Salon - Fernandina Beach Russell Daniels: Amazing. Gina is the best. She was very good with me and i am very picky about my hair. I will be going nack every month
The Artist Hair Studio - Fernandina Beach Kathryn Wandmacher: Mia is the best stylist ever. I have really fine thin hair and she always cuts it to where I can style it and it grows out great.
Mr. Gib Amelia Island - Fernandina Beach BTL CINC: Found Gib years ago, nestled in the heart of the historic district. Talk about finding gold at the end of the rainbow! I am over 60 and in all my life I have never known anyone who knows hair like he does. He takes his time, he gives you one-on-one service, you are not processed. You will leave looking and feeling like a new person! And his studio is nestled in an incredible park like setting. If you have not gone yet, you do not know what you are missing. Gib truly is a one-of-a-kind artist!
Deena Salon - Fernandina Beach Alexandra Fencl: First time customer and now a permanent customer! Deena did a great job, I got a full highlight and a trim, she was very knowledgeable and did exactly what I wanted! Great conversation I had so much fun!

Dear South Salon - Fernandina Beach Aiden Malloch: This place is a hidden gem for haircuts. Never knew of the location until I was recommended to come visit! The main stylist, Meg, is absolutely the best and is willing to work with you in any sort of way to find a style that works for you. Ive had two haircuts thus far from her and I can certainly confirm that she is the only person Id ever want cutting my hair at this point. The first time was an experiment experience as I had grown out my hair after a bad haircut from another barber. There was much more work and care that had to be done to have my hair styled her way. The end product was amazing as I always had to lie through my teeth from past experiences but that time I was truthful and stunned with how my hair had looked. I had only described barely something that I had wanted and she went to work and nailed it. Now that she has a Google review page I can properly give her the review she deserved and hopefully bring more business to her! Thanks again Meg!
Blowouts at South End - Fernandina Beach M B: Customer service needs improvement, for sure. I got my hair styled, pretty much just curled. Let the girl know my hair doesnt hold so if she can do/add whatever she needs to make it stay, that would be great. I figured she would try to make the curls tight or do something...she did loose curls. By the time she was done, most of my hair was already straight again. She had a very know it all attitude. Before we started, I asked if she can do braids and if she can maybe do one braid on one side, something simple. She said she is meticulous about her braids and it would take longer. So she pretty much didnt want to. After I was finished, I sat for about 20-30 mins waiting for my friend to get her hair finished. This whole time, the stylist sat around doing nothing, just on her phone....I think she had plenty of time to do one braid. Then when my friend was done, I looked in the mirror again and made a comment that my hair has already fallen. You would think the stylist would say, oh, let me touch that up for you. But no. She just sat there with the OH WELL look. Thank goodness a friend had their wand available while we were getting ready bc she ended up having to re-curl my hair and it stayed! By the end of the night, my hair fell and it looked like what the stylist did when she originally finished styling. OH, AND... I had a drink that I placed on the counter and the stylist knocked it over. She seemed very annoyed when it happened and grabbed the drink. I told her I can just hold it instead. She wiped the counter and proceeded to curl. Didnt say sorry for knocking your drink over, nothing. She saw that I was holding the drink in an awkward manner (bc it was just tipped over and dripping), but never once offered a paper towel or something to wipe it off. Will I go back: NO. Would I recommend: NO
