T & C Dental of Largo - Largo (FL)

5 /5 N W: My family have been going to the Largo office for years, and the staff feel more like friends than anything else. Dr. Hur is kind and careful, Carlos is so very gentle at cleaning, and Cheryle is sweet but tough. She keeps the office running smoothly and makes sure no one takes advantage of Dr. Hur. They know not only my name, but they all ask about my kids and husband as well.

5 /5 Maggie Bergeron: I have MAJOR anxiety when it comes to dentist and I will avoid at all cost. But, I know know with my health and age I needed to go. Today I went to the largo location and had the most amazing staff from the moment the door opened, the woman upfront helped with all insurance issues, the man who did my X-rays talked me through it so I would stay calm and then the dentist himself. Yes I need some work but he is willing to go slow and not make me feel pressured and scared. I will be turning and telling everyone!! This place is honest and legit.

1 /5 Summer P.: DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE! Extremely unprofessional and rude front desk woman to my boyfriend who was a patient there. 1) They do not call insurance to verify amounts due/benefits and find out a month after he got a deep cleaning that it was denied by insurance because they billed/did another service within a certain period of time, even though they told him he HAD to do the services in THEIR order. 2) He had an emergency 1 day and tried to call to get in since his tooth cracked & a piece came out, but the lady was not accommodating at all & ‘offered’ something a week later non-chalantly w/ no remorse. Most recently, he tried to get his med records sent over to a new office in which he filled out a proper records request & the front desk lady gave the new office a very hard time, told my bf he had to fill out an entirely different form by going back to the old office! The new office is in shock with how unprofessional/unhelpful this lady is & have never experienced anything like it before. NOW this lady has the audacity to tell my bf that he can’t have HIS visit notes & they belong to the office which is ILLEGAL to not give patients access to their own records per HIPPA laws! I’m not sure how these people are in business & blatantly disrespectful, condescending towards their patients. They will be reported to HIPPA and the dental association.

1 /5 Tracie Laws: This dental office completely let me down. I had made this my dentist since my first appointment last year. I felt at ease going back as my first appointment went so well. This was not the case this time. The receptionist John confirmed the wrong appointment time and had me come 3 hours after my actual appointment. On top of the obvious concern he told me Id be charged for no show. I was there 20mins early to the appointment he confirmed with me. He VERY RUDELY stated that my appointment was 3 hours earlier. I couldnt believe this. He then told me that appointment for the time hed confirmed with me didnt show so they could "fit me in".. how nice right? NOT!! New hygienist ALERT!! The worst cleaning experience Ive ever had in my life. This women made me think of a pan handler or ex con. No rude and no personality. She even made the comment that I set her schedule back by not showing earlier!!! I explained to her my appointment was for now.. maybe thats why there was an opening. This whole experience was terrible. I wont be back EVER!

2 /5 J Lucas: I must amend this review from 5 stars to 2. At first, I was happy to find a dentist that would explain things and put me at ease. We decided on a full treatment plan but after 6 months of waiting and putting up with the bully at the front desk I was advised it would be best if I went to a specialist. Now it took 6 months to figure that out?! The front desk woman told me my treatment plan was very complicated. (It is my opinion that she made this decision and not the dentist). What?! Extract teeth - insert dentures. I also found that he is the only dentist I have talked to since then that charges to apply an antibacterial substance into each extraction. For the last 4 months of my association with this office I was in pain but that did not seem to matter to the person up front. She kept reminding me of all the time she had spent on my case. Well, that is your job!! I could go on and on but I will leave it at this. To sum it up, the woman at the front desk was one reason I am glad to be away from there. In the meantime, I have found another dentist and for much less out-of-pocket. Yay!
