My first visit was awesome, and I did get the opportunity to learn a lot from this place. I will return here soon whenever the time and weather permits me too.

5 /5 Trektheworld23: Beautiful park a real hidden gem in mandarin. Plenty of paths and areas to congregate under Spanish moss trees with a long dock going out to the river. This park offers history with preserved artifacts from late 1800s.

5 /5 Heather Monroe: Beautiful park. Great for walking. Old historic buildings with plaques giving you great detail about the area and buildings. Lots of benches to sit and picnic tables. Loved the large deck over looking St Johns River. Boat launch located next door. There are a couple of access to wooden walkway along the river as well. Be on the look out for the many ceramic frogs in random places!

5 /5 Wade: I’ve been coming to this park for many years. It is always clean and well kept up. It features paved walkways that also go toward the river, and some boardwalks. One goes really far out and there are always fishermen out there. At the end of it is a covered area that has good views of the river and bridge. There is also a small museum and some other buildings on the property. It’s one of the best parks in the Jax area.

Stockton Park - Jacksonville Deven Abbott: Great park to come fish with the regulars, or throw a hammock up near the river or further into the trees. Lots of open grass and a great breeze always coming off of the river. Not much in the realm of a playground but theres a couple of swings that dont seem ever too busy.

South Beach Park and Sunshine Playground - Jacksonville Beach Deacon Frost: I recently visited this playground with my children, and it was fantastic! There are so many different things to play on, making it perfect for kids of all ages. From swings to climbing frames and slides, theres something for everyone. The entire area is well-maintained and very clean, which is always a plus. In addition to the playground, there are volleyball fields and a football field, so its great for older kids and adults as well. Its the perfect spot for a family outing. The only downside was the toilets—they are available, but theyre not always the cleanest. Other than that, we had a great time and will definitely be back!

Balis Park - Jacksonville Brian Armbruster: A beautiful and relaxing area in the middle of downtown San Marco, a small town in Jacksonville that displays the historic architecture of once was of a time back when Spanish and American culture mixed and the Beauty has really been time sealed and a capsule in San Marco who was Ballas Park centered in the middle of the town with upscale shops and eateries surrounding and beautiful homes in a developing Community thats been in development for hundreds of years. To me its just beautiful and relaxing and an amazing place to meditate

Breakout Games - Jacksonville erika monroe: Zaria was absolutely amazing, not only did she make the room exciting her clues were just enough to still allow you ans your team to figure out what to do. Definitely a must do if you havent already experienced an escape room.

Stinson Park - Jacksonville Wade: The park is well laid out and has a little playground. Great views of the river. Lots of squirrels and some birds. The only downside is that there often times seems to be some sketchy characters that hang around the park and every time we have been it seems to be quite crowded. It’s also very small. But nonetheless it’s a good park.

Theodore Roosevelt Area at Timucuan Preserve - Jacksonville Briana Moore: Great park! Worth a visit for sure. Everyone i hiked by was smiling! Thanks for this treasure, Willie Brown!

Deck The Chairs, Inc - Jacksonville Beach astrida mcfarland: 12/19/24 The first night of our trip, we decided to go see the Deck the Chairs exhibition to get into that Christmasy mood in Jacksonville. It was around 11pm after we had dinner. We drove over to the area and found parking very easily. There is no charge for this exhibition. It is the size of a couple of short blocks to walk around in. It is well kept up with paved sidewalks. There were lots of families walking around at that time and it is well lit up so we were not scared to be out there. We found it relaxing and fun. There were nice exhibits that would appeal to all ages. We would go see it again next time we are in that area.

The Escape Game Jacksonville - Jacksonville Rita Loeding: Yay! So much fun - definitely met our expectations. We even did a second Escape because we enjoyed the first one so much. The staff members were so friendly and helpful- they made sure we were comfortable and felt safe. We did “The Prison Break” and “Gold Mining”. They level the games by difficulty- that’s very helpful. They also help you select the game that is best for your size of group if you want their help - also extremely helpful. There’s shirts and novelties to purchase if you’d like. Shirts are nice quality. Cold beverages available. The restrooms were clean and there’s a drinking fountain. Easy finding the building. We had plenty of parking. There’s restaurants in the same shopping center if you want to do multiple games and need to eat. So glad we came… definitely coming back.
