It was 4:15pm on a Thursday when I tried to call in and let them know I needed a prescription refill/dose change [per their own protocol]. Their office hours are 8-5 M-Th. I was greeted with a nice answering service representative, who had no suggestions on how to let them know my request, other than call back on Monday. This center is closed on Fridays. I dont begrudge closing early, if all the work is done, but there should be a communication method to relay issues/needs when one calls within working hours. Staff is very nice, operational protocols need work.

I havent had my progesterone for 3 years and need to have a yearly appointment to be able to get the refill. Does Dr. Young have virtual appointments.? He is the greatest Doctor. How about moving to NY, Ulster County. Im sure you remember your patients "Bobbsey twins", Anne and Gail. Youre the greatest Doctor ever. Stay well.

Ashley Stewart: Office doesnt do STAT authorization request? A patient was referred to our office by Dr. Nicholas Okeson, my doctor wanted to do an ultrasound while patient was in the office. The staff here stated "they get too many authorization requests, that they dont do STAT authorization request" I completely understand that a lot of authorization requests come in but if something is STAT why should the patient suffer because the office isnt staffed enough to handle stat authorization requests? So what is a patient to do that needs something done stat, go to the emergency room? Seems like horrible patient care to me.
