5 /5 Marissa: Andrew from Countryside Macys provided amazing customer service. He helped my husband get fitted for a suit and pant for an upcoming wedding. Thanks to him, we found the perfect outfit. I wish everywhere had an associate as helpful and customer driven as Andrew! I prefer to do all my shopping at this Macys location. I always find everything I need here and the service is the best.

5 /5 Alan: Great place to get all seasonal clothes. The bedding department has all the comfortable mattresses name brands. The staff is outstanding and attentive to your needs. The Backstage area is great for discounted items.

1 /5 James Bennett: Very bad experience. The cashier that rang me up wanted me to apply for a credit card, or at least rewards points, and would not take no for an answer. She eventually shoved a blank piece of paper at me and told me to write down my name and date of birth on it. I couldnt understand what it was for, and she had a foreign accent that was hard to understand when I asked her. Finally I did it, and it turns out it was to sign up for rewards points through my phone number. I made it very clear that I did not want to do that. I should have just walked out without making the purchase. As it turns out, I will have to return all but one item tomorrow anyway because they dont fit. God help them if they give me a hard time! No means no!!!! I will never shop there again and I will unsubscribe immediately if I get a promotional email.

2 /5 Tracy G: I love Macys as a whole but this location is a mixed bag. The return desk is wonderful. They are the nicest people and never give you a hard time. Coming from a retail family, thats hard to come by. That said, the cosmetics and accessories departments leave ALOT to be desired. I went to get a clear handbag for a stadium event. Found what I thought I needed and the only woman working the department turned her nose up at me and went on chatting with some seniors browsing nearby who clearly were not needing help shopping. Then a couple weeks later, I had to return some Christmas gifts. The return desk was wonderfully helpful but the Estée Lauder counter? The older lady working there gave me a disgruntled look when I gave her the large empty Macys box back that the item came in. What did she expect me to do with? Its her job to break it down. She reacted like she was too good to do manual labor. Then she brought it in the cubicle and proceeded to make comments about it while she begrudging took scissors to it. Im sorry I made you do something besides stand around in your heavy makeup and look pretty. She wasnt even ringing ppl up. She looked seasonal to me. The other issue? While the other associates were very nice and helpful, I dont like providing my phone to an associate I dont know and have her take it out of my sight to scan a code. No matter how innocent it may be. They should be having returns come to the other side so they can see where their personal property is going. I got my refund which is what I went for but I wont be doing anything with cosmetics and accessories anymore.

4 /5 Cathi Leigh “Kate” Kilian: 12.04.25: My mom and I decided to check the Mall at Countryside for gift ideas today, plus today is my birthday, and my mom wanted me to pick out my gift. While at the mall, we decided to browse Macys; while looking at things for the kitchen, I found a spring form pan and, since Ive been wanting one, decided to grab one while it was on sale. The sale price for it was $24.22, but when we got to the check out, it rang up for $ 27.99. I told Roxy (our cashier that it was supposed to be on sale and what the price on the sign said and, rather than call someone for a price check and us having to wait for however long (or just saying "forget it" and walking out), Roxy took our word for it and rang in the discount! Ive never been ANYWHERE where the sales person has done that for me! I understand that its not a huge difference in price, but she really could have taken a hard line about it and either made us wait around for a price check - and risked the sale - or told us we were "mistaken" about the sale price. Instead, though, she put customer service first. Because of her professionalism and service, as well as her genuinely kind personality, Ill be shopping at this Macys again very soon. And, when I do return, I hope Ill run into Roxy again! Thank you for such a pleasant shopping experience!
