The Oaks Mall - Gainesville (FL)

4 /5 Aman Ray: The Oaks Mall in Gainesville is a nice, convenient place for shopping, dining, or just spending time indoors. It has a mix of stores like Dillard’s, JCPenney, Sephora, and H&M, along with smaller local shops and kiosks. The mall is clean and usually not overcrowded, which makes it comfortable to walk around. The food court has several good options, and parking is generally easy. However, some sections of the mall feel a bit outdated, and a few stores have closed, giving certain areas a quiet vibe. Still, it’s a good spot to shop, relax, or cool off on a hot Gainesville afternoon, especially since it’s one of the few large indoor malls in the area.

2 /5 Aaone: Was here today multiple children and women with babies had to use the bathroom and it was shut down for hours while the maintenance crew could be seen just standing around looking clueless. We all left and could shop due to having to go outside the mall to use restroom. Some children couldn’t hold it and used it on themselves. They only have one restroom available and it should only be closed 30 minutes at the most to convenient the customers so the continue shopping not losing money for the mall in general! At least tell maintenance stay out of site cause it looks very bad like they’re just LAZY!!

5 /5 Jeannie Anderson: Mall has some empty stores, but is well kept inside. Would be nice if there was a kiosk or store with hot pretzels or ice cream or cinnamon rolls or something to snack on as I walked around. Maybe some music? A kiddie horse/plane ride? Pet store? Two buffets, but no place inside to just grab a snack/meal and sit for a few minutes (except benches).

5 /5 Mary Darley: I love visiting this mall with my Son at Christmas and letting him pick out his Christmas gifts. It’s always decorated beautifully and is easy walking. I have lots of great memories here

5 /5 Cristy Brannin: JC Penny Salon. Vena is your girl. She does an amazing job. From cut, color, style, texture. She does it all and immaculate. I have curly hair and if you do as well. You know how difficult it is to find people who know how to cut it.
