As if Walmart reviews get read by anyone. I have never had a negative experience here until tonight and I’m not sure I want to come back and risk being yelled at by this woman. Do y’all even know you were the only place open tonight (1/27) because the power is out on pretty much half the island?
Sincerely sorry there were still a few people in the store at 10:45. Refer to what you just read and imagine working in a restaurant and waiting long after closing for customers to leave instead of somehow being allowed to rush them out so you can lock the doors early like you get to do. But for another customer to offer to let me check out before them, and not even give me time to ask “are you sure?” before yelling at the both of us: “JUST GO! IT DOESN’T MATTER! WE WANT YOU TO GO!” isn’t something I would even say to another human ever, yet alone a customer doing nothing to you mere minutes before the end of a shift.
Blonde lady who isn’t usually at self-checkout: I am so sorry I came in for some ramen because I had no food at home and everywhere else was shut down from a blackout. I sincerely wish I hadn’t bought the ramen. Don’t even want it anymore knowing how much my buying it offended an employee by existing. Next time my brain tells me I don’t deserve to eat, imma just listen.
