Puna Earl I was extremely reticent about making an appointment for a haircut because I often have bad experiences with salons. Hair Gallery, however, was able to accommodate me within a couple of days of calling and were very helpful. I had an appointment with Chloe who listened with care to my hair concerns and gave me a wonderful haircut at an extremely affordable price. I will definitely be visiting again.

jazmyne davis I went to this shop because I read all the good reviews and I am looking to start my loc journey. However, after leaving my consultation appointment I felt very uneasy about the whole appointment. My stylist Brittany did an okay job making me feel comfortable about my hair but the other stylist did not. I had some issues with my scalp that I did not know about and the other stylist made me feel really bad and like I dont care about my hair. I didnt appreciate they way she made me feel and it was NOT a welcoming environment and some where I would not return.

Summer Hesse I had a really amazing experience at Magic Touch Hair Salon today with Kia as my hairdresser. She did an amazing job with my hair color and extensions as well as making me feel like $1 million when I left the salon, after she curled my hair and took pictures! During the time that she was doing my hair, she was extremely kind and considerate and I could genuinely tell that she really cared about my hair and my experience there. Everyone was very kind there actually and the price and is very affordable for what you are getting. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone in the Lakeland area and I would definitely recommend Kia. as a hairdresser that will make sure your needs and wants our met. They also have a very classy boutique ( with fancy jewelry and hair accessories ) within the salon and other services that allow you to walk out of there feeling like the best version of yourself!

amanda smith Absolutely horrid. My daughter came in asking for chunky blonde and dark brown streaks on the top half of her red hair. Jackie put 2 huge chunks of blonde at the front of her hair. She did not use any toner so she has 2 copper looking chunks in the front of her hair. Then it looks like she is wearing a headband because she did two thin dark brown streaks on the top of her hair and the line up with each other in the middle. She did maybe 6 other streaks which were very thin and you cant even see them in her hair except some random straggling blonde pieces. When I confronted her about it, she would not even consider a partial refund. She said she could try and fix the colors which I told her she would never touch my childs hair again. Personally I feel that she saw a young, inexperienced girl and rushed her through to get a quick payment. Shame on this place

Brandon Roe I was so nervous getting my hair dyed until i walked in and was greeted with the friendliest welcome. Shannan was incredible with helping me understand how hair dying works and was really kind when I was hesitant on going through with it. But I do not regret it one bit because look at the picture. It’s like quicksilver white hair and she styled it with a pomade that actually held my hair up. I’m definitely going here again.

Cathi Edinger I made a appointment here after a friend recommended it. For a cut and several highlights she paid around eighty dollars and looks amazing and I should have had the same person do mine. I ended up with a hairdresser named Kim. She told me she would need to be paid by cash or check but she wouldnt tell me about how much. I assumed it would be comparable to what my friend paid. She kept "evening my hair" until it was almost as short as it was after chemo. The color on what hair thats left is decent. However I was floored by the hefty $167 price tag. Now I know why she couldnt tell me how much because I would never have agreed with that. This is a deceitful way to do business on Kims part.

Kristy Williams I followed my hair dresser over to Talk of the town. Krystal Gray is a awesome person. I love the environment here, its so pretty and inviting and they play Christian music which is so soothing. I recommend Talk of the town for the best Salon ladies and gentlemen to come get a hair cut or color.

Chloe Underwood I have been going to Brooke for almost a year now! I had really bad anxiety due to bad experiences at past salons and now I get excited for my appointments. She does better than what I ask every single time and it feels so nice knowing I can trust her judgement, she will help you decide what is best for your face shape, skin tone, etc. She is great at conversations and never lets anyone feel awkward. The salon itself is so cute and always feels so clean. All the girls are so welcoming and eager to help each other out, which is a nice environment to be in. The location is also great! Highly recommend not only the salon, but Brooke as well!

L T Very pricey and no customer service whatsoever. I was willing to give it a try but felt disappointed compared to other Dominican salons.

Pamela Simmons I had an appointment with Carol @ 2 pm. I was 5 minutes late. I sat in the reception area for another 7 minutes when I finally walked to the side room and had to interrupt another stylist to ask for Carol. Carol informed me that she was shampooing a lady to do a perm . Obviously a walk-in as my appointment had been booked for days for a shampoo cut. and style. A 1 hour service. She wanted me to come back after the perm so she obviously didn’t have anybody booked for that time slot. A perm is a 3 hour service. She herself had not even kept her own hair nice for someone in her field. She was not very welcoming or pleasant in the slightest. I would not want this to reflect on the other stylist as they rent chairs. I of course would not want to go back later after being treated so badly. Unfortunately I had bought a promotion and it was only for Carol. So she got her money anyway. Repeat customers Carol are your bread and butter. Walk in’s will not usually be loyal as they generally always go on a whim wherever they can get in. Not a good way to increase your clientele.

HOUSE OF BLING Took my 10 yr old daughter for her first experience by a professional. Kaitlyn Hoobin was great with my daughter and we loved the results. Thanks again! Highly recommend. I will be making an appointment for myself soon!

Dove DO NOT GO TO CAROL!! the coupon is not worth it. She did the most lazy work I have ever received at a hair salon, and not only that but messed up my bangs SO BAD. She gave me 90s bangs and an 80s bob, then shoddily blow dried my CURLY HAIR. She didnt even finish the job so my hair frizzed up like crazy. I showed her many pictures of what I wanted, showed up and she just lectured me on how hair care is like a plant, okay.... Anyways. Seriously take your business elsewhere if you want a cut that isnt out of the 80s

Viviana Melendez When I tell you I almost cried when I left this salon, it’s not because I was sad, but because, for the first time in a long time, my hair felt so healthy, and I felt so pretty. I actually sat outside and FaceTimed my sister and friends to show them the results right after. The staff was super friendly and took their time helping me pick the perfect color and cut for my face shape. The best part? I didn’t feel rushed like I have at other salons, which was such a nice change. They also helped me find the right products to keep my hair healthy, and let me tell you, it’s grown so much! I can’t wait to make my next appointment.

She quickly found a solution that far exceeded my expectations and looks beautiful! In fact, Im getting compliments from complete strangers. She quickly and found a solution to my color woes. Pamela Clark I had been getting my hai colored for quite awhile from this salon. At first, I liked the rotating process of that staff that they worked on every client. What I originally thought was efficient, turned into an absolute nightmare for me. I was left unattended with bleach in my hair for too long and the outer rim of my hair was burned off to the scalp. I had to yell to someone’s attention to rinse it off. But they NEVER told me!!!! They styled my hair and tried to hide what they did!! And they let me pay full price without ever disclosing their mess. I have spent so much money in the past year on trying to get my hair to grow back out and healthy again. They ruined my hair without even the slightest attempt of decency! Horrible experience!

Angelique Santiago Scheduled my first appointment with Sara Crawford for a wash and cut, Sara was very professional and welcoming. I went in with hair that was one length, with split ends and damage. Left with beautiful layers and bangs and felt amazing to get all that dead hair off. Here it is all styled up and I’m still super pleased with it. Will definitely be back!

Danielle Sophia is the gives best facial I have ever had! With her guidance, I have started to rotate between dermaplane and microdermabrasion every other session. I go every 4-6 weeks and it has kept my skin looking flawless. Sophia is so kind, considerate, and flexible, constantly working with my crazy schedule. I use to tan in my younger days (never doing that again) and now with the difference I see from my regularly scheduled sessions, my skin is in the best condition of its life! The best part is the hand massage at the end. I work at a desk all day and this part is always such a nice treat. Highly Recommend a facial with Sophia!

Lacie Jo Aldridge I never use to be into facials until I came to utopia studios. Kiki, the owner is a jack of all trades. She is so talented and does so many things. My favorite of course is her incredible facials. It is such an experience. You’re so well taken care of and you couldn’t be more relaxed. She informs you about your skin and how to treat it in such a delicate and encouraging way. She leaves you wanting to learn more about how to take care of yourself and excited to incorporate self care 24/7.
