Sara Baum Leydanis is my favorite nail tech to date! I have been getting my nails done for many years and have seen many different nail techs. It’s very common that I leave an appointment feeling like there was something that could’ve gone better or been done better. Leydanis is the first nail tech to not only make me feel completely satisfied with my nails and the whole experience of being there, but she is also the first nail tech in my life to be able to have my nails stay beautiful for 3 weeks+. I have shorter nails, so whatever I usually get done whether that be acrylic, gel, etc, only lasts me about a week and a half before they start to peel. This is the first time in my life that I have not only hit the 3 week mark, but the 1 MONTH mark and still have beautiful nails!! If you are looking for a one time nail appointment or a consistent one I will always recommend Nails by Leydanis!!!!

Renee Buck Im a regular visitor to Key West and over the years Ive always had Melissa do my lash fills for me as well as eyebrow tints. Each time I have loved the results and the fill easily lasted three weeks. She is fast, friendly, and professional. Melissa is really good at lash placement and takes pride in her craft. I have been seeing Laura for about four year’s for different services. She did a tattoo lip liner for me and I have loved it. She took time to discuss color options with me to make sure it was the right shade. I loved the final outcome. Laura also did powder brows for my daughter and my daughter literally cried tears of joy after her appointment because she was so happy with the color and shape. She also did a great lash tint for me as well. I would recommend giving them both a try!

Christina Lopenzo After reading reviewed for multiple salons, I landed on this one and it was really a winner. Karina was by far the most meticulous tech Ive ever been to. The shape was perfect and she spot tested my pinky for the nail color. I need certain colors for my job and this color was much brighter pink than expected. Most nail techs paint all the nails without confirming. She helped me pick the perfect pink for my job (toes have no rules so I went crazy). She even painted my toes with flip flops on so I didnt smudge them. Everything was so thoughtful. My only complaint is Im just visiting for work and wont be able to be a long time customer.

Nicole Wells I have been coming to Nail Studio since March 2024 and I must say I love this place. The music & the vibes are great and the staff is super friendly. My favorite nail tech is Karina! Karina does my nails all the time and she nails the look that I’m going for all the time. Her work is near perfect and she takes her time to perfect her craft. I came here in particular because I love nail designs and she’s one of the best techs for designs. Nail Studio has all the updated polish colors and styles. I never feel like my nail session is being rushed. I highly recommend this place!!!!

Mickie Gray Stopped in for a pedicure as a walk in. They got me right in and were very friendly and the place was very clean. The atmosphere in the shop was very fun and they clearly have good relationships with lots of regulars. If I ever vacation in Key West again I’ll be back for sure. My picture is in bad lighting but I got acrylic on my natural nail so they’re shorter but that’s what I prefer :)

One is that the nail technician trims my nails, polishes them, and I’m on my own to take care of ingrown toenails. The other is that the technician tackles my nails..but I end up with sore toes for a couple of days.. CARI❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ I was not paying attention, and suddenly, she is going to put in color…I looked at my toes, and felt of them…ingrown toenails..GONE!!! I asked how she’d done it, and asked shared her secret♥️WOW!!!! I only wished I lived in KW., I’d never go anywhere else again!! Thanks Cari!! You. Are. THE BEST!!

amy thompson Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review. I rarely leave bad reviews, only good ones. However, I spent $83 with tip on my dip manicure, and they didn’t even last 5 days. I had one nail break, another nail was splitting on the side, and the color was fading and splotchy. All my other dip manicures last 4-5 weeks without any broken nails. She didn’t do the dip the same process where I’ve had it in all other salons, so I was concerned they wouldn’t last, and they didn’t. She also had very limited color options. Three I chose she didn’t have. I’m assuming all the 5 star reviews are only for acrylic nails. Otherwise, there’s no way just dip manicures are lasting with the way they’re done.

They were nice enough to change it to two solo massages, and I have to say that Judith was amazing! I get a regular massage in my home town, and the difference of techniques was good and interesting! She did an amazing job of working out the knots in my back, I felt so good when I left! Hoping to come back to Key West to see the things I didnt get to see, and will definitely book again with her!

Its a wonderful, soothing, relaxing establishment which offers a variety of services, some of which are performed better than others. I recently visited and got a massage and pedicure in the same afternoon. Danielle was absolutely wonderful, and gave me the best therapeutic massage Ive ever gotten. I highly recommend her, and will definitely schedule another massage with her. However, the pedicure was not a great experience. When trimming my toenail cuticles, the pedicurist cut too deeply, and I now have several sore spots on multiple toes. The polish looks great, but now Im having to treat my cuticles to ensure that they heal without any issues with infection.

Derlis is super friendly, kind, and talented. I would give her a 10/10, if that was a rating option on here. She applied a new acrylic set on my nails with a design. Derlis cleaned the bathroom right before I walked in and I cannot express how impressed I was. This may seem silly but, so many places (salons/restaurants/bars etc.) do not keep their bathrooms clean. Extra points for that! My husband received a pedicure from another nail tech, Lliana. He also had a wonderful experience. His nail polish was applied expertly. In the past, its been too thick or all over the skin.

Sam Sudano I came into this salon with my friend and requested a basic manicure for him. When they finished, his nails were still dirty, jagged, and hadn’t been properly cut or filed. We couldn’t understand what we were being charged $40 for. When we asked them to fix the nails, they barely did anything—just cleaned under a couple of them, leaving the rest untouched. When we tried to explain that the service wasn’t worth the price, they suddenly acted as though they didn’t understand English, despite speaking it with us throughout the appointment. The entire experience felt like a ripoff, and the lack of professionalism was disappointing. Save yourself the frustration and find another salon that values its customers and provides proper service.

Taelor Don’t get your eyebrows threaded here. The woman who did them gave me a great shape, but this morning I woke up with small open wounds under both eyebrows. Now I have to worry about infection and scarring on my face, and that’s not cute. Idk what she did wrong, but it’s not worth it. Edit: in response to the owner’s response, I’ve been getting threaded for a long time back home. I’ve never had this happen to me. Ever. This is the first time and last time I looked in the bathroom mirror, one of those cuts has now formed a white head which, to me, says you may have given me an infection. I know it’s not from me. I’ve kept the area clean and dry and don’t touch the area otherwise. And I’m keeping record of its worsening progression with photos. Additional Edit: I just wanted to put an update here. Within 24 hours of me posting this review, I did have an infection. The wounds had pus in them. I had to go on an antibiotic course. But the infection got way worse before it got better. I missed work and wages as a result because at one point my eyes were almost swollen shut. I contacted the studio and the owner reached out to me. She said she’d refund me if I signed a release of liability. The fact she had a professional legally binding document drawn up and ready to go is concerning that this wasn’t their first rodeo with giving someone an infection. And for the record, I know of one other person who I had worked with who got an infection on their cheek from a facial there. Anyway, I said I wouldn’t sign that because I didn’t want my hands tied if the infection progressed since it was so close to my eyes. The owner was cooperative and kind until one day she just flipped on me. She started saying there was no proof it wasn’t my own fault they got infected (it’s not. I’ve been getting threaded for a long time back home, and my skincare routine hasn’t changed. I’m also not dirty. I’ve never gotten wounds from a threading or an infection before going here) and then I didn’t answer her messages for a few hours because I was at work, and she called me “completely unreasonable” and blocked me out of nowhere. Haven’t heard from her since. Never got a refund. So not only are these people filthy dirty in their practices, but the manager is immature unprofessional and lets her emotions get the best of her. It’s been 6 weeks since my infection. The skin under my eyebrows is still discolored. At this point I can only assume it’s scarring and I’ll be left permanently disfigured. The discoloration on my face has shattered my confidence and this whole experience was really traumatizing and stressful. I’m attaching more photos of the progression of my infection. I urge everyone not to go here. It’s actually so scary what happened and can happen to you too.

Amanda Hassan I’ve been looking for a place to get my acrylic fills in Key West, and I’ve finally found it. This was the best fill / manicure I’ve ever had. The nail tech was patient, thorough, and kind. She even took extra steps to correct some issues from a previous fill at another nail place. The spa was clean and had nice amenities. I will definitely be back!

Jean I went here on my vacation and absolutely loved it!! I went with the spa pedicure and manicure. I loved the massage, and the scrub! I highly recommend Aleny I think her name is? She is excellent!!

Kim Pickens I went into this salon on a recommendation of an acquaintance. No one except for the owner, spoke one bit of English. To communicate with my nail tech, I had to use Google translate. When I made the appointment, I told her I was going to be coming on my lunch break and did they think it could be done in one hour. The owner told me that it would at least be an hour and 15 minutes, which i explained was fine. The entire time the lady was doing my nails, She kept acting rushed like she felt like she was in a hurry. the owner hovering, 4 separate times I told her that it was fine, no rush. When finished I left the salon making sure I gave a good tip! Only negative I would say is that she was rough on my nail-beds filing, filing and filing more with all of her equipment to the point, she drew blood twice. I noticed that the normal process I always go through with dipped powdered Nails was done differently by her. She added cuticle oil to my nail beds and a spray product prior to dipping them. within 3 hours, two of my nails popped off in one piece. I called the salon and was able somehow able to communicate with them to tell them that I needed to get a couple of them repaired.I went at lunch the next day. ( took 30 minutes) She seemed shocked that the nails fell off. These were powder dip nails and that is just NOT something that happens! She fixed the two nails and made the comment on Google translate that she was so glad her owner wasn’t there. I over Communicated that I was not upset, and that I appreciated her fixing the nails. Next day 4 more nails, came off in one piece. At that point, I was frustrated. I called the salon asked to speak to the owner, she not there. I asked for someone who spoke English, no one did so one of the customers ( unprofessional ) did. I told the customer what happened and they said they would have the owner call.The owner called an hour later. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I was not expecting what I got, the owner started talking over me immediately, went into how it was MY fault because I was rushing her tech. I tried to talk and she just kept talking over me. She-said that she had already refunded my money, that no one had ever complained about this tech before, and that she was sorry I was not happy. I told to her that I would like to get a word in edgewise, that is when I told her that I in NO way rushed her tech, it was even longer than what she told me it was going to be. I told the nail tech that she did not need to rush. I told her that it was unheard of for powder nails to just pop off in one piece. Her explanation was that it wasn’t dried. Seriously? I sat under lights with heat three separate times on each hand, I will never go back to this establishment! First of all, if you’re going to have a Salon in a primarily English-speaking island do yourself a favor and at least hire ONE English-speaking worker. It was very unfair to the staff and to me as a customer. And as a customer, I should NEVER have to get on the phone and talk to an upset client FOR you. That in itself is ridiculous. I ended up driving right up the road to another salon and they were shocked when I showed them the whole nails that came off my hand which I saved( see picture attached) They said that with powder nails if it is done correctly, they are impossible to pop off. They have to be soaked off. (which of course I already knew.) The lady was able to redo my nails in 35 minutes!!. She was literally Calling over workers in her salon to show them the popped off Nails. They were all laughing, all of them in agreement that they did not use the correct products to do dip nails.The lady that did my nails at the first salon was very sweet, and I’m sure is doing the best with what she has been given by the owner. But at the end of the day, STOP doing powdered nails until you have the right equipment and people trained on the right equipment! However, thank you for giving me a full refund. That was the right thing to do!

Scott Frickson Just the best! Service, kindness, flexibility, and we are huge fans of this business. They go above and beyond every time to make it an enjoyable experience. How much so? I am a retired Army Aviator that looks forward to sipping a glass of wine and getting my toes,, into shape,, could care less about my toes but the joy every time me and my girls go to this spa it is amazing!

Kayley Hahn It was super easy making an appointment online. Arrived and was offered a complimentary drink. The service was quicker than expected and she created exactly what I wanted.

April Allen Kathryn and Paula (spelling is probably wrong) were great! My nails and feet were done at the same time to make the service quick. They offered complimentary beverages and good conversation. My hubby got a mani pedi a few days before and enjoyed it so much that he made me an appointment. Ill be back!

Melanie S Super kind and cute, professional, clean and beautiful work! The girls are super charming and their attitude to customers is above and beyond! In addition, they offer free drinks! Paula prepared my hands for filling and did my legs while another one sat next to me and did my hands ❤️❤️❤️

Grant Portier I’ve been going to H&N for a couple years now and I ALWAYS have the best experience! Katherine and the girls there are the best and always get my toes and nails glittery! Oh, the sangria is fantastic as well!! Make sure you stop in ASAP!

Brandie Cobo This place is out of business. Ericka has not updated Google or her website. I booked an appointment through her website and she is still taking “appointments” and still charging the deposit. I went to my appointment and it’s completely shut down. I tried contacting the number on file but it’s out of service as well. I tried her Instagram as well as Facebook to no avail. I finally had to message her family member, who I assume is her father. He responded that she shut down and moved away. I have sent a request to Google that this place be marked as permanently closed. She’s taking money at this point and you can’t get in touch with her. I doubt I’ll ever get my deposit back through her
