1 /5 Andrea: I visited YMCA Hollywood recently with the intention of joining, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing due to the unprofessional attitude of the woman at the named Courtney. From the moment I asked about membership, she spoke to me in a condescending tone, as if my questions were bothersome or beneath her.
I understand everyone can have a bad day, but consistent professionalism and respect should be a baseline in any customer facing role especially when someone is interested in becoming a member. I left feeling unwelcome and disrespected, which completely changed my impression of the gym.
First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one made me question whether this gym values new clients. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously, because the facility itself seemed great just not the attitude at the door.
