1 /5 Vickie Schirg: I placed an order online, and the app was glitching. So when I went to pick up my order, not everything was correct. Which is understandable, seeing that the app was not working correctly. I go inside and let a representative of the store know. My order was wrong and they were able to correct it. But as the young african american gentleman brings me my food, I was immediately uneased as he asked if im on facebook and Crestview bulletin. I asked what exactly am I looking for. He said its a surprise. I felt very off put and confused by the request as I started looking on the Crestview bulletin. I did not see anything that stood out. Other customers saw the interaction, and I asked again, what am I specifically looking for and he just reiterated that its a surprise. And he shouldnt really talk much Im at work. I take my food to the car and Im still very distressed by the interaction and feel even more uncomfortable. I call their number to report my incident. And was told the operation manager just walked in, and I said, great. I will be in to discuss with her my encounter. I explained my situation and how I felt and asked if she would approach the worker and ask what specifically or why he had this interaction with me making me feel very uncomfortable. Needless to say, he was acting as if he was completely shocked that somebody would complain and avoided the question as to why? He prompt me to look up a article from a few days ago and come to find out. He was featured in a comedy show. And that he tells all the customers to look it up, and its a surprise. Needless to say, the female operation manager said that that was not very appropriate and could have been done differently. And she said that she would also bring this up to a one on one conversation with the employee. Ive never been some where that I have felt that uncomfortable in a very long time. Im not sure if Ill be going back if that is conducted at restaurants like that.
