D T How this gentleman has a 4.7/ 5 stars rating on Google is beyond me. I would leave zero stars if that were even possible. Matt is very disrespectful not only to his customers but also to the family and friends of his customers. Threw the biggest hissy fit I have ever seen because I rejected the job for the price he quoted me and was visibly very upset when I politely asked him to move his truck because it was in the way of my freshly planted grass that needed sunlight. Mind you, I had given him a few bottles of water to make sure he felt welcome and was working in a comfortable environment. Even after this, he was still being rude and he finally moved his truck only to hear more muttering under his breath. Proceeded to send me furious text messages after I declined his services that included swear words. I would not recommend him to anyone. Heres a kind tip for you, sir: Dont step foot onto a customers house and act like you own the place. You don’t demand that I move other people’s cars when it is nowhere near the vehicle I asked you to look over. I do not owe you a red carpet.

reed Midas quoted me $3700 for new struts, tires, and all the other upsell nonsense. Had Matt check it out. Struts and tires are fine but I have a bubble in one tire which is likely where the very slight bumping/vibration is coming from. He referred me to a good tire shop. I’m the furthest thing from a mechanic so I gladly payed for the diagnosis. And he didn’t try to sell me a cabin air filter! Lmao Super nice guy idk what the very few bad reviews are talking about. Stay away from the corporate shops yall

Ben Coleman Took my 2011 Mercedes E350 in to figure out a couple of issues, the team over there did a great job diagnosing and identifying the problems. Their solutions were reasonable, and I certainly cant complain about the labor rates. Theyre fair and honest. If they tell you something needs to be done, you can count on it. If they tell you something can wait, theyre probably right. Unfortunately too many people buy used European cars without realizing the maintenance (especially the parts) costs associated with them.

Kip Wagner I have to say if you need any work done with your car with transmission or anything else you need to go to USA transmission the owners are very nice. The employees are nice. They will work with you as much as they can. I got into a jam with my business and they understood what I went through, you cannot ask any nice people in the world to work on your Vehicle. They have my business to the rest of my life. You were not go wrong. Getting your car worked on here if they can get more stars than five I would give them a 10 no100%. Shannon Pozna While visiting Longboat Key on vacation, our truck wouldn’t start. I called KW Mobile Auto Repair, and Eric responded right away, coming out the same day to get it running. He initially tried to repair the part in hopes of saving us money, but unfortunately, it was too far gone. The next morning, he returned and replaced it, walking us through each step of the process. Eric was incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and thorough, making sure to check every possibility before replacing an expensive part. We’re so grateful we found him—he was kind, professional, and reasonably priced. If you need a reliable mobile mechanic, we highly recommend Eric!

Being from auto of state, we had no idea where to go, but based on their wonderful reviews and phone call we made to them, we knew we made the right choice. They diagnosed the issue very quickly and provided us with a very fair estimate for the work. Although this time we didn’t have enough time for them to get parts in time for the issue, we will be sure to visit them again when we are back. Highly recommended and trustworthy shop!

Amber Zane This guy is an absolute God send. I know nothing about cars. Not only did he save me money. I brought in a list from another mechanic and he relooked at her and saw what she actually needed ( $1500 less then their quote) and even took labor off his own quote, stating he thought he would need more time. He is honest and made me feel comfortable like talking to a friend. He is reliable, relatiable and did a magnificent job. My car was on the brink of falling a part and Jeff managed to put her back together. I will be returning to him with all my mechanic needs. Matthew Brame I have been going to Gulf Auto Clinic for over 6 years with my two vehicles. They won me over with their expertise, honesty, and just overall down to earth nature. When you walk in they treat you like family. It genuinely appears that everyone enjoys working there. I saw one of the negative comments about them not being able to get to their vehicle in time. Unfortunately, things like that happen with a busy business. It should not reflect on their core values of wanting to take care of the customer. I highly recommend Gulf Auto Clinic and will continue to trust them with my vehicles.

tkdchamp021 I will never go to another mechanic again. I have been ripped off by mechanics, especially at dealerships numerous times. However, this couple came out to my home, gave me a very realistic diagnostic of my vehicle, and in just about an hour fixed it. I needed the wheel bearing replaced on my van, and with parts and labor combined it was well less than $300 total. They were easy to work with, easy to get along with, and definitely were trustworthy! They will be my go-to from now on when it comes to vehicle repair.

Amado Navas If I could give these folks 10 stars...I would!!! Outstanding job they did for me today to repair my Granddaughters car. They were punctual, showed up 10 mins early actually, very respectfull, very professional, worked fast and skillfully, you can tell that this Mechanic knows his stuff. Alex Lecuona When you’re out of town and you are looking for a place to work on your car, you check to see the customer ratings. Ray’s had a 5-Star rating so I decided to give them a shot. They diagnosed the problem and explained everything and gave a very fair price and repaired the issue quicker than expected. This is how you gain peoples trust and are constantly busy. Being courteous, honest, and doing great work. Easy to see why they are so highly rated.

Rebecca Saranich Rays took care of a wiring problem that eluded 2 other mechanics. They were prompt, fair knowledgeable, and pricing was fair and reasonable. The mechanic took the time to explain the cause and how it happened. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Doug McDermond Had a sticking #7 valve. More lights on after I got it back then when I dropped it off. Took it back a week later and he said it was because it needed an oil change(HIGHLY DOUBTFUL). I personally think they left something unhooked on purpose. Agreed to pay for oil change and was charged for a new intake gasket as well, total was about$165. Oil the used was not a synthetic as I requested, havent looked at the filter yet but I can imagine its cheap. About 5 days later had PO106 code and a couple others come up... Turns out the plug for the MAP(manifold air pressure) was barely connected... Was it on purpose??? Seems a tad sketchy in my book...

Timothy Baldwin These guys were super professional, timely, and affordable. Theyre not in my area by any means but I will continue to make the drive out to see Luis and Doug any time I have an issue with my car in the future. I went to them for a second opinion on an issue with a radiator fan issue on my 2021 Nissan Sentra. The part was a dealer only part, and were estimating 3 days or so to get the part on hand and do the work, they were actually able to get my car to me a whole day earlier than expected. After spending almost $500 elsewhere to not even have my car fixed (and have another problem to deal with) Luis and Doug took my car in super quickly and didnt break my wallet when it was time to pick up my car. Super professional, and great communication from the team. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable mechanic who isnt out to get you back in the shop weeks later down the road. Theyre the absolute best mechanics Ive done business with.

Yasmin Samuels Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Drove 4hrs for a track meet and my check engine light came on as soon as I got to Bradenton Friday night. Got my car to him Saturday morning. I was scared to leave my car here while I was at the track meet but he ran diagnostics and sent me pictures of everything. Fixed my car and showed me all the old parts from the picture and did it at an amazing price. Got my car fixed for my 4hr drive back home and got to watch my child compete in the track meet. Very honest and I am so grateful!

Jarrett Cotton When I dropped my vehicle off, I explained the current conditions and the DTCs listed when I scanned the vehicle at home. The next day, when the inspection was completed, I was shocked that there was a recommendation for a new engine. I was disheartened that no other tests were performed beyond a scan that I had already done. No borescope was used to check for valve or piston interference, and the timing cover was not removed to check the chain for stretch, or if the guides were broken or the tensioner had failed. Just a recommendation for a new engine. While they were clean and courteous, I wouldnt recommend them for anything more than light repair work or tune-up services.

Jake Edling Excellent service and I wasnt even a customer! They gladly helped me with 3 questions I had while replacing my water pump. The front office is very clean and welcoming along with the staff. The mechanic I spoke with was very helpful. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone locally. We are from out of town on a camping trip, so needless to say its a huge stress reliever to receive honest advice from honest professionals.
