5 /5 Collin Endress: Great service at affordable price. Honesty, integrity. Chapin is not like the big Corp auto mechanic shops or dealers who sell you services you dont need (or at best highly questionable). Auto dealers and large auto shops have tons of overhead to cover and charge a lot for that overhead not too mention suspect integrity. I had same service on broken window provided for much less by Craig than a large auto mechanic in area. Bottom line if you want great service, honesty, and all at a great price go here.

Edward Cleveland: Here is why you find a mechanic you know and can trust and stay with them. Ive used Roys Automotive Clinic on 14th Street for YEARS. For the last 25 or so I havent owned a car - weve been leasing. But, when my Lincoln lease ended 3 months later I bought a used car. Good - but it is still used. Ive been concerned that my battery might need to be replaced. Batteries place tested it and said it was OK, maybe it was the starter. I call Roy and make a time to come see him. He has me start the car - twice. Gets a testing device and puts it on the battery (in the floor behind the front passenger seat). Then he puts a charger on it. When it was full he put the fence little tester on it again. It prints out the result: REPLACE BATTERY. Heres the deal - when you need a mechanic to work on your car go to Roys - tell Roy I sent you and he and his shop will take real good care of you.

Doug Kubit: I had my Ford Excursion 7.3 towed to Kings Service because it wasnt running right. I was visiting from out of town and had to return home to North Carolina, leaving the truck at Kings. Their website claims that they employ ASE certified professionals. If that was the case, they would have been able to diagnose the issue very quickly, rather than working on it for over a week, replacing parts that were "thought" to be the root cause. The technician told me that "I finally got it to throw a code". This is troubling for many reasons, the most obvious is that he had no idea how to hook up diagnostic software to a vehicle and verify outputs. 2 million of these motors were produced and there is abundant diagnostic and troubleshooting documentation. After changing multiple parts, changing the oil, and adding diesel fuel, it wasnt repaired. $3,500 of wasted time and effort. After having the truck towed to another shop, they found that the work done at Kings wasnt done correctly. Wiring harness was not connected correctly, oil pressure sensor was reading 1000 psi when the truck was off. Both of these things are basic issues that an "ASE Certified" mechanic would have been able to identify quickly. After flying back to Florida and picking up my Excursion at the second shop that had fixed it in 3 billed hours, I called Kings and let them know the findings. After a brief conversation with the owner, she said she would check with the technician and get back with me. No call back or attempt to make it right.

Matt’s Mobile Mechanic Services (Same day service) - Bradenton

D T: How this gentleman has a 4.7/ 5 stars rating on Google is beyond me. I would leave zero stars if that were even possible. Matt is very disrespectful not only to his customers but also to the family and friends of his customers. Threw the biggest hissy fit I have ever seen because I rejected the job for the price he quoted me and was visibly very upset when I politely asked him to move his truck because it was in the way of my freshly planted grass that needed sunlight. Mind you, I had given him a few bottles of water to make sure he felt welcome and was working in a comfortable environment. Even after this, he was still being rude and he finally moved his truck only to hear more muttering under his breath. Proceeded to send me furious text messages after I declined his services that included swear words. I would not recommend him to anyone. Heres a kind tip for you, sir: Dont step foot onto a customers house and act like you own the place. You don’t demand that I move other people’s cars when it is nowhere near the vehicle I asked you to look over. I do not owe you a red carpet.
