1 /5 Odai Alsalahat: Terrible experience—feels more like a business than a dental clinic!
I walked in for an appointment because I was having pain in one of my teeth. The moment the front desk receptionist took my ID, the first thing she said was, “$157 for the exam,” without even greeting me or asking if I had insurance, which I do. I handed her my insurance card, and she started verifying it while I waited. Even the way she was spelling my last name to the insurance rep felt awkward and unprofessional.
I was told I needed a root canal after doing some X-rays. Another woman took me immediately to her desk to discuss a payment plan, before I could even process anything. It felt like I was at a car dealership, not a dental office. She asked me to fill out a soft credit application to see if I “qualify” for a payment plan. Again, I have insurance. I’m just here to take care of my health, not finance a new car or buy a house.
This isn’t even the first time I’ve had this experience with this clinic. I came in back in August for a similar issue, did the X-rays, and never came back because of the same treatment. It’s clear they care more about charging your insurance and selling expensive procedures than treating patients with respect.
I’ll never return to this place. It’s not about the money, it’s about how they treat people. There are better clinics out there that actually care about their patients, not just their wallets.
