1 /5 Michael Register: I would avoid this place at all costs unless its a life or death situation. The doctor was amazing and she was very nice but The nurses are beyond rude and disrespectful. Very specifically nurse valery F. Was the most rude and even told us next time to visit a different hospital. I was ok with it because all I need them to do is their job, however there is a limit to what you can say to a patient. We waited an extraordinarily long time after being diagnosed and told we were being discharged. After an hour I walked outside to ask what was taking so long and I was rudely told there are no discharge orders and I can wait for as long as they want me to. I refuse to be treated this way by any establishment, much less a hospital. I would give 0 stars if I could.

My veins are hard to find and in the last two weeks I’ve gone twice and both times they’ve been able to draw blood in the first stick, since I’m going through chemo this is very important to me. Everybody is very kind, professional, and friendly

5 /5 Royall Nichols: I have three resounding comments about Baptist Medical Nassau, one general and the other two specific. The first relates to the Medical Hospital Center, which I visited just this afternoon for some blood tests. I was in and out in less than ten minutes, the receptionist handing me to the administrator to the blood test technician without pause. And all the people who served me were so pleasant and efficient. The second comment relates to Lori Tilton, my PA working with Dr. Page and my primary Primary caregiver. She saw me for follow-up on an emergency visit to the hospital last weekend. She added great medical understanding and advice on self-care to my recovery from the accident, leaving me feeling really cared for and with so much greater peace of mind. She is among the two very best medical professionals I have experienced in my 82 years. The other was my younger brother, a Family Practice MD, who took care of me until he passed away. I would like a to add a very positive shout out to the MD who served me on my emergency at the Hospital, Rich Westenbarger, who spent almost an hour carefully and precisely sewing up my very deep head wound with three layers of stitches, 14 in all. Lori Tilton, when she did follow-up with me 5 days later, said his stitching was "beautiful." He did something artistic with my very messy head.

1 /5 Roberta Steinberg: I am beyond furious. I had an MRI done on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 7:30am. Was told I would have the results by Tuesday the 11th at the latest. Had a follow up with my doctor on Monday the 17th of January at MD Anderson. He still hadn’t received the written report from the radiologist. He’s requested the report twice since my visit with him and has gotten NO report. I tried calling radiology on the 21st of February and got no answer. Couldn’t even leave a message. So here it is almost 3 weeks later and I have NO results!!! Absolutely NO excuse for this!

Baptist Heart Specialists - Pavilion Office (Downtown/San Marco) - Jacksonville Alan Engle: Diagnosed pericarditis before seeing Dr Obi and his staff.....The point of this negative review is that after having a 2nd stress test with a positive result of pericardial effusion with symptoms of shortness of breath and elevated HR with minimal activity. I contacted the office via the portal twice and called the office and left messages twice as well, none of those were replied to. 2 weeks later his nurse called back and stated she was away during that time??? Like these messages dont get triaged by anyone else in the office?? I had a positive test result,bear in mind and was reaching out for next steps based on my symptoms which were worsening It took me calling the office and speaking with the manager 2 weeks after,who was very nice & apologetic and admitted that this case would be a learning tool for the staff on how portal/voice msgs should be triagged. This "heart specialist" should take this message to heart and work on what should already be a much more thorough process for patient care. Its a good thing theres no shortage of phenomenal cardio doctors and organizations here in Jacksonville (off of San Pablo specifically) that I feel are looking out for my best interests and Im glad I switched. Do your own research

Ashutosh Pradhan, MD - Jacksonville Douglas Frantzen: I cant speak to his acumen as a surgeon as we never got that far, but my review is related to my experience across 3 visits with him. Im not one to normally write reviews but felt compelled to do so in this case, as I had to walk out of my appointment with him based on his rudeness and unprofessionalism. In 2 out of my 3 visits to him, he was dismissive and rude. Normally, I can overlook personality challenges if they are a good doctor, but I would call that into question here. This doctor isnt diagnostic or academic. He basically has a very tight playbook, and if you fall into a exact specific area that is black and white, then maybe he can help you. Hes not interested in hearing about your symptoms if they dont fall into the small area of understanding he has. If you are not an easy candidate for surgery, he will not give you advice or any other form of next step. Its basically "good luck to you". My first visit with him, he basically told me what I was experiencing wasnt real. I pressed for further testing since my imaging already shows 2 herniated discs among other cervical problems, and he obliged and ordered me a nerve conduction study. That study showed radiculopathy in the areas of herniated discs, so he then changed his tune and starting discussing surgical options with me. I wanted to exhaust all conservative options first, so I delayed further conversation about surgery, then came back several months later after I had tried all remaining conservative options and taken even more tests. In that visit, he was frustrated that I had gotten opinions of other doctors and accused me of "doctor shopping". Mind you, I dont take pain medications. Ive refused them during my 15 months of pain, and I was not pushing for surgery. In fact, I was attempting all conversative treatments until surgery was a last resort. This guys ego doesnt allow him to listen, be empathetic, or understand your situation.

Amelia Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine - Jacksonville Jason Sogan: I was visiting from out of town and got a sore throat. I was able to walk in without an appointment and get seen within a few minutes. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Ed was able to run tests and get me treated very quickly. This was one of the best urgent care experiences Ive had.

Yoder, MD - Jacksonville Carmen Duran: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mary Yoder for about 15 years, and she continues to impress me with her comprehensive knowledge of medicine and proactive approach to care. She always takes the time to listen and never makes me feel rushed or dismissed. After losing my insurance almost two years ago, I couldn’t wait until I was eligible for Medicare to return to her practice. When I did, it felt like I never left. Dr. Yoder remembers my medical history and consistently provides personalized care. I also appreciate how quickly she responds to messages on the portal – it’s clear she truly listens. At 65, having a doctor who knows your history and genuinely cares about your health is priceless. I trust Dr. Yoder completely with my healthcare and highly recommend her.

UF Health Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery - Jacksonville - Jacksonville Squanto 1: After multiple failed attempts to set up an appointment via phone and online. I finally got a call back but missed the call. Whoever called left a very short voice message and when I called back the office staff had no idea who called me (person didn’t leave a name/ext). I was then told someone would call me back to set up an appointment but they still have not for over a week. What is going on here? I have insurance and want to be seen but I feel they have no desire to even set up an appointment. Place is mismanaged.

HCA Florida Jacksonville Primary Care - University Blvd - Jacksonville J Bull: My PCP left the facility. No one from the facility called me to advise that she had left. 7mar25 I tried to get prescription refilled early in the morning. Later in the afternoon I checked and it was not approved, waiting on Doctor. Further searching revealed that my PCP had left and I was assigned another PCP not near me. Now I can’t get my prescription filled and have to rush to find a PCP closer to me. I have been there over 30 years. Thank You for caring.

Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital - University Campus - Jacksonville Neal Thomson: We moved my father to this facility after 20 really disappointing days of no progress at a place called Fountains at Mill Cove. My father was recovering from 3 spine surgeries, the most serious being a laminectomy to repair an AVM. He went into the first place unable to transfer from a wheelchair, and they wanted to send him home in the same condition. Fountains kept him for 20 days, but he made almost no progress. Brooks had him for 20 days, and released him to another rehab center (River City Nursing and Rehab) actually able to walk 4-5 steps. We went with that facility recommended by Brooks, and 60 days later, my father walked back into his house, including climbing the stairs at the front. He has been living independently for the last year.

Eric Blane Stewart, MD - Jacksonville Jennifer Henderson: 4 years ago when I went here I loved it. Recommended everyone to come here. But now? Drastic downhill change. Its horrible here. Theres no control in the waiting room. Other patients being rude and staff doing nothing about it. Staff not making notes on my file when I tell them to NOT book me with ANY other doctor then the one I named. But yet.... Im still getting scheduled with other doctors. None of the staff, nurses and doctors included really care. Theyre a very free select few who do. Unfortunately I havent seen any today. Def NOT a doctors office Id recommend to ANYONE!

Terk Oncology - Jacksonville Charles McInnis: Over the years, I would make it a point to develop a professional, courteous but close and lasting relationship with my doctors, specialist and their medical teams, but the "Terk" team has raised my opinion to another level. You may recognize the review below. Trust me, I attempted to read through most of them but I found this particular review more closely describe to my specific experience and satisfaction. My appointments were early AM, so I did not get to meet the front office staff but can only assume that they fit the same pattern of professionalism, patient satisfaction and "bed side manner". Thank God for the Terk Oncology team and excited to write a review. Excerpted From A Previous Review ... As I read other reviews, saying the same thing with different wording. I found one review which said what I wanted to say and it, in part follows : "I have generally arrived early for my appointments and have enjoyed visiting with other patients while waiting. All I spoke with were impressed with the professionalism, courteousness, efficiency and positive attitude of the staff. They have minimized any unpleasantness of the treatment and done everything possible to make us fell comfortable and informed about our treatment schedule and keeping it moving quickly. I think the attitude of the staff contributes to positive outcomes."
