1 /5 Kayley T: PLEASE go anywhere else if you want to survive.
I had Dr Schneider for my pregnancy, her bedside manner was great. However, don’t let that fool you. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I started getting flu like symptoms. I kept calling her office asking to be seen or to go ahead and schedule an induction because I was in so much pain and very ill. They told me no. Ignored my symptoms, and told me that I could go to the emergency room if I needed to. Turns out for the last month of my pregnancy I had very high blood pressure. At my 40 week appointment that they made me wait for I got sent to labor and delivery. Dr. Schneider was not present because she’s off on weekends. I had the on-call doctor in the hospital. Unfortunately, the on-call doctor was busy when it came time to push. I got poked six times in the back by an anesthesiologist that couldn’t get the needle in my back. My blood pressure dropped significantly and I had to be put on oxygen. After my daughter came out mind you I did this all natural, I had to get stitches I was begging the midwife for pain medication. I had just given birth and she’s giving me stitches inside of my vagina. She literally said OK I can give you a Motrin. Have you people lost your mind? My back was in severe pain from getting poked multiple times not to mention I just gave birth. And you wanna give me a Motrin? I was in pain and My blood pressure continued to escalate. I ended up spending a week in the hospital. I was dealing with severe anxiety from bp medication I couldn’t sleep. I was in excruciating pain for the first 24 hours. Dr. Schneider saw me one time at the end for 5 sec to release me to go home.
Not to mention, you will be waiting close to four hours for each appointment. I understand having to wait to see a doctor, but there were a lot of times where they would mess up scheduling and I wouldn’t even be called back. That was my last baby!
