5 /5 Russ Brandt: I had to have emergency surgery a few years ago. My local neurosurgeon recommended going to Tampa General Hospital since it was too risky a surgery for him. When I got to Tampa General late at night, Dr Agazzi met with me and explained my options. He ordered tests and it was determined I needed surgery first thing in the morning. Of course I was scared but he and the staff put me as much at ease as possible and treated me with the utmost respect and dignity. Once the surgery was over and I was in intensive care, I knew things would work out well. On a side note, I cannot day enough of how dedicated the nurses in intensive care are - they made my stay there as good as it could possibly be.
Now three years later, I just met with Dr Agazzi for another routine follow up. He went through my entire recovery and showed me my old test results and my latest. Everything looks completely normal and I do not have to follow up for three years. I do not know that there is another doctor and staff that could have given me a complete recovery as well as taken the time to explain to me every step of the way what was happening and made me feel so comfortable. My family and I thank you for everything you do!
