5 /5 Julian Tokarev: TL;DR: superbly skilled, respectful, customer-centric, honest, and affordable!
I bought a used 2017 Chevy Volt plug-in hybrid for ~$11k. It came with a damaged traction battery (the big high voltage one) that worked fine until it dipped below 20% charge level then conk out. Dealership said it would be $18k plus several days labor to replace it. Oh yeah, they’re also on indefinite back order. In other words, good luck buddy.
I found a salvage traction battery at Butler’s Auto Recycling somehow with only 25000 mi on the donor vehicle. Snatched it up, Fils swapped it in same day!
No one else in the Panhandle would even touch it. They knocked it out in 6-7 hours for a bit over a grand.
Absolutely phenomenal. Wholeheartedly recommend!
