Mayo Clinic - Jacksonville Wally Sears: the Mayo campus in Jacksonville is beautiful. The art collection is fantastic. If you have to get medical care get the best and brightest doctors in a stunning, bright, modern, environment. Fine dining at M Brothers resturant and gourmet coffee shop Zest has heathy to go meals.
UF Health Jacksonville - Jacksonville Vonna Scott: Checked emergency room at 8:30 am on Tuesday 9/3. Told me I was being admitted at 6 pm. At 11m they still didn’t have a room available. 9/4 at midnight, the move me to an exam room and said once they get a room I would be sent upstairs! It’s 5:36 pm and still no room. Was told I have to stay overnight again, but with no room. The bathroom that I must use is down the hall and around the corner and is disgusting! They have not cleaned the bathroom and it has a horrible smell. No paper towels or soap to wash and dry your hands. To top it all off, my room has not been cleaned. Meaning no trash was picked up or emptied. Not to mention, I’m still sleeping on bloody sheets from yesterday when they tried to put in a butterfly needle to draw blood. This place is absolutely disgusting and should be closed down. Think I’m going to have Ben Becker from the news investigate this place! Stay far away!
HCA Florida Memorial Hospital - Jacksonville Auset Butler: I gave birth here a few days ago and I really enjoyed my stay there. The nurses that I had were amazinggggg! They took good care of me and my baby and were very attentive, supportive, caring. Whenever me or my partner asked a question they were very informative. They made me very comfortable and I didn’t feel scared at all during the birthing process.
Baptist Medical Center South - Jacksonville Alison (Ruth Esther): For a hospital it has a friendly and visually pleasing layout and nice amenities. Comfy chairs in the seating areas. Thankfully I was only there for an MRI. The staff was professional and friendly. The visitor parking garage has several levels, and elevators, and is convenient to medical buildings 1 and 2 and the hospital. There’s also a shuttle van.
Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville - Jacksonville Judy Baker: Excellent facilities & Staff. Beautiful view from his room. Our Emotional Support Service dog was allowed with me at all times. I can’t say enough about the excellent service, treatments, Staff & food. We will always use Baptist Health as our medical team.
Naval Hospital Jacksonville - Jacksonville Chris Szczepanski: This is by far the most pitiful hospital I have ever stepped foot in!! There is absolutely no sense of urgency nor knowledge with the staff, it is virtually impossible to reach the person you are looking for. Do not waste your time playing phone tag with these people. I highly recommend anyone who needs the proper professional care to look elsewhere. This hospital is lucky a 1 star is the minimum you can leave for a review.
Ascension St. Vincents Riverside - Jacksonville Lily Evans: I would give this place -10000 stars. if you love your loved one do NOT take them to St. Vincent’s if you want them to receive actual care. The treatment has been disrespectful to say the least. They do not check if you need water, pillows, sheets. they do not care if you haven’t had a bath in over a week. they do not care how severely dehydrated you are. There is no care provided , you must plead for everything. There is absolutely NO communication amongst care teams. Scheduled medications were missed, call light response time is shocking at night. Everyone walks around like “well what are you doing here” when the patient has stage 4 cancer & cannot move, adjust, or care for themselves. If you walk out of your loved ones room, they go in there & try & discharge them. the patient couldn’t even get into a car if they tried. they can’t even move in their bed. the care is truly LAUGHABLE. it’s inhumane. it truly seems like no one knows what they are doing. i would never allow another loved one to set foot in this trash “establishment” again. & i have heard this before but it wasn’t my choice on where to send my parent. i thought orange park medical center was the worst but they at least treat you like a human & make sure you have the items you need. every person that walked into the room it was like they had never even glanced at the patients chart. I wondered why the cancer specialists advised us not to go through their hospital. WELL NOW I SEE WHY. i would steer extremely clear.
Baptist Medical Center Beaches - Jacksonville Beach Ramona Houston: From the moment I walked through the door at the ER, I was greeted with kindness and uplifting care. A great deal of stress relief was felt immediately. There was not a single person in the hospital staff that was not pleasant and helpful from beginning to the hour I was released on Thursday evening. Professional, kind, knowledgeable and caring applied to all of your staff. In that I have no family here, it gave me a great sense of relief.
