The campus has the largest collection of Wrights work in one place, and seeing his vision come to life in so many buildings is truly impressive. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, sharing great insights and stories that added a lot to the experience. Whether youre an architecture enthusiast or just curious, it’s definitely worth the visit. Beautiful design, fascinating history, and a unique part of Florida you might not expect!

5 /5 jeanne lomax: As big fans of Frank Lloyd Wright, a trip through Lakeland brought us to FSC. We were able to take a tour and visit the College grounds. It felt like we had walked where FLW had walked nearly a century before. There were many nice gift ideas in the Welcome Center, but we felt the best gift would be the memories of the tour. What a treat! Our only regret is that we couldn’t come during a cooler season. We suggest a trip between October and March would be much more comfortable.

His knowledge of Frank Lloyd Wrights work, the specific buildings on the campus, and the historical context behind each design was impressive. He answered every question we had with such depth and enthusiasm that it was clear he has a genuine passion for the subject. His explanations brought the architecture to life, helping us appreciate the intricate details and visionary aspects of Wright’s designs that we might have otherwise missed. The tour itself is a hidden gem in Central Florida. While many might overlook this attraction in favor of more well-known destinations, I cannot recommend it enough. Its the perfect day trip, offering a unique and enriching experience that goes beyond the usual tourist fare. The campus, with its collection of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings, is both beautiful and historically significant—truly a must-see for anyone interested in architecture, history, or just looking for something different to do in the area. Florida Air Museum - Lakeland Francisco Gasia: Sure! Here’s a short review in English emphasizing the F-14: ⸻ I recently visited the Florida Air Museum and had a fantastic experience. The exhibits are well-curated and offer a great mix of aviation history and hands-on displays. But by far, the most impressive part of the visit was seeing a real F-14 Tomcat up close. Standing next to such an iconic aircraft was absolutely surreal — it’s a must-see for any aviation enthusiast. Highly recommended!

Dixieland Dragon - Lakeland Patricia Riggs: Interesting, but its near someones yard. Residential area. Its a novelty for sure.

SUN n FUN Aerospace Expo - Adam O.: Such a beautiful airshow and perfect place to take anyone you know thats remotely interested in aviation all the way to someone who is flying their own experimental aircraft into the field to camp for the week. Aviators in the area cannot miss this annual event. Aspiring pilots or those looking to get picked up by airlines also should come, and come prepared to speak with companies at the career tent. There is great pilot gear, experimental aircraft parts, merch, and of course, the unforgettable airshow and thousands of beautiful aircraft that show up every year. Its impossible to not have fun!

Bonnet Springs Park Welcome Center - Lakeland Manny: This incredible park is a true gem and a source of pride for Lakeland. What makes it even more special is that it was created by the community, for the community. Since its opening just a few years ago, it has rapidly grown and was even ranked the #1 city park in the U.S. within 2–3 years. The park offers fantastic volunteering opportunities, each one not only contributing to its growth but also offering valuable learning experiences. Every detail of the park reflects thoughtful design and exceptional construction.

Common Ground Playground - Lakeland Mike Mike: Common Ground Playground at Edgewood Park is a fantastic spot for kids! It offers plenty of shade, picnic tables, a great play area for children, bathrooms and ample parking. A perfect place for family outings!

Holloway Park - Lakeland Cheryl Bauman: Excellent location to walk your dogs, go on a hike, take wildlife photography, play disc golf, chase your children around, on run some trails! I took my dogs here again recently and had a blast! My only wish is they would stay open until 8PM instead of 7PM since it’s cooler out later in the evening for my pups. There is a lot of parking on the trails, but none that were pavement if that matters for you. This would be a great location for a 5K race. There was a potapotty that I did use and it was clean. There is also a water spigot at the end of the disc golf trail side near the parking area. There is also a little pond that would be a cute place to picnic.

Chitwood Covered Bridge Mural - Lakeland Michael Mutz: This is a pleasant mural bringing life to a back alley in historic Lakeland! If you are in the area, drive by and take a look!

Lake Morton - Lakeland Adela: The lake is beautiful. It was hard to find parking near a picnic table because they were either full or no parking spot near by so we ended up eating in the car but the scenery was still beautiful with the swans and ducks. So peaceful

Circle B Bar Reserve - Lakeland Reese Parker: Loved the scenery. Nature at its finest for sure. Loved the free parking and free entry to this place. Make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes when coming here. I learned the hard way (I had on flip flops) We got to see lots of alligators up close and personal. Saw lots of birds and even a turtle. The people visiting were very nice and repeat visitors too. The workers were very pleasant and spoke to us giving us information for future visits as far as tours etc. This was a definite work out and make sure you bring lots of water to stay hydrated when walking here !!

Escapology Escape Rooms Lakeland - Lakeland Jennifer Smith: Amazing experience. Took our whole team so no one was left out. Super staff. Friendly. So helpful with clues! Made it out barely with 2-1/2 minutes to go!
