4 /5 Rhonda Shoupe: It is truly a wonderful hospital. Dr. Patel is amazing! She immediately spotted a problem with the mixture of meds I am prescribed to take daily. She took one of them away altogether and I was fixed! Great facility is nice and very clean. staff is so very kind, patient and helpful. Only negative is I missed when you used to get a some ice and water with a cup by your bed as well as hygiene products to clean up a little. Over all wonderful place.

5 /5 Red Miller: Pleasantly surprised and somewhat impressed, are the first two things that came to mind when I walked into HCA Florida Lake City Hospital. The facility is laid out well, directional signage is very good, parking was cramped and very full (not sure if it was a bad day or what), the staff were friendly and attentive, and the entire facility was very clean and orderly. Again, I was pleasantly surprised and a little impressed by the level of order in the chaos that is medicine in America. Although I hope I dont need to go back, I wouldnt be upset knowing I was coming here.

4 /5 Trek Mccullough: Much better all around stay than my last one there. Very clean, hats off the lady that came in and cleaned my room. Nursing staff was phenomenal. Although the night shift team could have used some ancillary help. The preoperative and post op nursing staff were great as well. Last but not least my surgeons Dr.s Josh and Sarina Epstein were great. I appreciate them both so much.

5 /5 John Koch: The biggest thing I want to say is that the emergency room nurse who placed the IV stint in me did a wonderful and extremely excellent job. She placed it on the side of my arm which allowed for comfortable movement while at the same time accessibility for draw downs and inputs. That women needs recognition for a job well done. Since this was my first time experiencing any visit to a hospital for my heart condition in my 75 years of life it went very well and the people who treated me and looked after me also deserve credit.

5 /5 George Scott: Had abdominal surgery on 2/4/25. The OR staff was friendly, competent and efficiently prepped me before the surgery. They explained everything and did a very good check out before I left. Katylyn and Skyler were great nurses.

Begum Tohmina MD - Lake City Dianna James: Not much to say about her regarding my needs. I mean of bad comments, except for holding your insulin refill unless you go see her. My boyfriend did see her and he’s diabetic and the price of the medication was almost & 300.00 and so he called her to see if the was any other insulin that was cheaper that he can afford and she told him that u must come back in to see me first. That’s ridiculous it’s like see me or nothing.

Island Doctors - Lake City Miguel A. Rodriguez: Do not recommend them. My dad has been waiting for approval for 2 MRIs that were requested by a neurologist since April 2024. The doctors only approved one. We had to get a second order for the original MRI from the neurologist and delivered it physically because the original was never approved when sent via fax. Now come to find out theyre not approving it because he hasnt been seen by primary. Mt question now is: why did the primary office approve one and not the other since the original request? Why approve one and not the other, especially when a neurologist is concerned about a serious health condition?

Ernest De Leon, MD - Lake City Mary Mccann: Their great!! On time, Dr. deleon did a great job of informing me of my blood test and results. He seemed pleased with my results. I was very informed! Staff is great! Kim is great on the phone! Overall i was very satisfied with my visit!!

HCA Florida Lake City Primary Care - Lake City Miriam Cartagena: Love my primary care doctor, nurses, employees and facility. There hasn’t been a time when I needed to see Dr. De Leon when I haven’t been squeezed in to see him. Or if I needed a prescription called in it was done in a fast timely manner. I’m very satisfied and happy.

Dr. Guy S. Strauss, DO - Lake City John Cathy: Very upset with this office! I went today for my annual appointment to be told “your appointment was canceled.” Receptionist said “they called you 3 times to let you know.” I replied “No, I have had no messages from this Clinic.” The receptionist verified the phone number then asked “is your voicemail full?” No, my voicemail is not full and I got NO voicemail from this clinic. I missed 5 hours of work and had nothing to eat for over 14 hours (for labs) for NOTHING.

Lake City VA Medical Center - Lake City Amanda McMahel: I wish this was my local VA. I had to drive an hour to this location due to the extent of my suffering but it was worth it for the care I received. The staff is exceptional. Friendly and welcoming. They listened to me and did their best to make me feel better. Hope they know how much I appreciate them. 10/10, A++, Love u guys.

Wolfson Childrens Specialty Center - Columbia County - Lake City Brittany Robinson: I love how quickly the problem is identified and corrections are made. Its kinda hard for my son to pay attention and the activities they do and making him feel comfortable is super effective. Our therapist is so kind. As I walk through the halls some kids cry from panicking but every therapist there kept a smile and try hard to keep interacting with their patients. All positive environment.

Columbia Animal Hospital - Lake City Jim Moore: Took Jack for his annual, good report other than being told to lose a pound or 3. Think Ive received the same advice. Quick efficient visit, everyone very pleasant with a smile.

Randolph Medical Practices, P.A. - Lake City Robert Bennett: I have been a patient for over 25 years and am well satisfied with the service provided . Dr Randolph takes time when seeing patients asking pertinent questions to determine the best coarse of action required . The staff is pleasant and helpful . Waiting time to see the doctor is usually less than ten minutes.Waiting time for an appointment is not more than a week usually and for urgent issues they can usually get you in fairly quickly .

Columbia Eye Associates & Family Focus Eye Care - Lake City Denise Wolfe: I walked in in a panic with pieces for one pair and backup glasses hanging by a thread. I left with a functional and well fitted pair of glasses and an order for new pair. Thank you so much. Eyeglass ladies are great. Im picking up new glasses next week so Ill share again.
