Its kinda hard for my son to pay attention and the activities they do and making him feel comfortable is super effective. Our therapist is so kind. As I walk through the halls some kids cry from panicking but every therapist there kept a smile and try hard to keep interacting with their patients. All positive environment.

Megan B My son attends physical therapy here with Ms. Pam. She works so well with kids incorporating fun activities that keeps their attention and also benefits the child and their therapeutic needs. She has done wonders with toe walking and strategies to keep him flat footed. The whole staff is always friendly and all the kids seem to enjoy their time there. The facility is newer and always clean. I always see staff wiping objects down frequently and in between sessions. Overall great experience and would recommend for therapies. They have a lot to offer including physical, speech/feeding, and occupational therapies.

Lena M W While driving back home from vacation, one member of our party started experiencing severe (almost debilitating) back pain. Unsure of what to do and where to go, I called Fresenius Medical Care since it was the closest ER to where we were in our trip. The staff was friendly and said to come on in to be seen. Upon arrival, the front desk lady only took 2 minutes to get our information. I asked how long it would take (since I noticed about 10 people in the waiting room) and she said maybe a minute or two. ((Really?)). But she was correct, because before we found a seat our member was being called back. Very impressive. In a matter of 30 minutes, we were in, out, and on our way. He was given some pain meds and the staff was so friendly that they gave him some graham crackers too since the meds were not to be taken on an empty stomach. Never have I had or heard of service that quick from an ER or Medical Center!! We saved this in our GPS since we travel from North FL to South FL often. Hopefully, we wont have to use it again, but if we do, this will be our number 1 choice. Thanks so much to the staff at Fresenius -- you made our detoured trip back home, manageable and less stressful!!

Cheryl Proulx Excellent service. I showed up in pain with a swollen knee. There were zero openings or available appointments. My doctor was advised of my situation. She saw me within 10 / 15 min. My dr. Is Marla Poole, she is a blessing to me and I sure to anyone else in her patient list. She is always ready to answer questions and listen. Wonderful beside manner. If you want a smart dr. That is attentive . Go see her. She won’t tell you to google any questions you my ask. I feel much respect for her.

logan Witt I was there at 3:46 and was there until I left myself at 5:28 and they had me waiting in the back for an hour just for me to go out of the room to show I’m still there and then the rude as can be male nurse for this night shift was rude and gave me an attitude telling me the test I went there for takes three days when it has been instant as it should be so it can be treated right away and properly. They were all back there laughing and cutting up with other patients and making wait time longer for everyone else there especially by keeping me back there for over an hour when my test wouldn’t be back for three days as they say and that I’d be called back in 3 days. I told him so you made me wait over an hour for something I can’t even see the results of in the same day and then gives me the worst attitude and was saying well it’s not instant, I’ve never seen someone so unprofessional and downright righteous in some way of keeping me there for so long just for me to get told that’s not how this works with his hands on his hips,raising his eyebrows, being kinda whiny towards me that I was even questioning of why I was left for over an hour when he and the lady who took my vitals could’ve already told me that and not make me wait an hour to not even get treated the same day and then to get a nurse who just wants to go home and mad they have to do their job. He said he could treat me now but if he doesn’t know what I have he’s just giving me medication for anything at that point. It’s URGENTLY done in all urgent cares (except for this one for some reason) and medical facilities. I walked out telling him he’s not gonna talk to me like that and then he tried being nicer and since could just give me whatever he felt would be okay without even knowing what I had which could cause more damage than good.

Maria Isabel Rivera actually so freaking rude and not worth the money w/ night staff. called at 6:10PM (the close at 7:30) to see if I could come in for a urinalysis. they said so come it, the place was dead really when I got there. pulled me back things were fine, the MD or DO walks in and just was so rude, so short, and dismissive. should’ve gone to the ER where they have more resources and staff that understand/listen. Felt rushed, walked out of the room after the provide left and felt like somehow I was in the wrong for coming in. I called before coming in, they gave the ok, I should not have been made to feel bad for coming in to make sure I didn’t have a UTI.

Jose Nunya Dr. Ricketts is by far the best Primary Care Physician I have ever had. She really takes the time to examine me and ask me about any and all concerns I may have. She is the most competent of all of the doctors Ive had in Okeechobee and would recommend her to ANYONE! The nurses are also very knowledgeable and competent which means a lot to me. I also use the mobile app to keep up with appointments and medications and even get my lab results without having to walk into the office. Great job team!! Abby is a breath of fresh air and so is Lindsey and the other girls. Thank you so much for all that you have done and will do for me.

She answered all of my questions and then I was sent to speak to a lady who was writing referrals and she was so nice and made my nervousness go away! I am so happy that I found a good doctor here in Okeechobee. I have been going to a doctor in West Palm Beach for years.

Miya Pearce Do not recommend. Asked for testing and they threw out my pee for absolutely no reason and then didn’t even tell me? I had to call them just to find out they did that. Waste of money. Then, I scheduled an ekg appointment, gave them the information needed to fax it to my doctor for surgery. Never did it. Even after confirming with them that it has been sent over. Now here I am at my pre op appointment without the medical forms needed. Also it took over an hour wait to be seen by the doctor and I was never even seen I had to leave so I could make it back to work on time. So, would have been over an hour wait. $265 WASTED. very unprofessional and careless staff.

Dr Randolph takes time when seeing patients asking pertinent questions to determine the best coarse of action required . The staff is pleasant and helpful . Waiting time to see the doctor is usually less than ten minutes.Waiting time for an appointment is not more than a week usually and for urgent issues they can usually get you in fairly quickly .

Sara Mayhew After living in larger cities, and struggling to find a provider’s office who seemed to be thorough and care, upon moving here I struggled with choosing a provider. My insurance assigned Dr. Randolph, and I knew I needed care, so I figured why not. I am so thankful for that, because I finally for the first time in 10 years feel in good hands with my primary care office. The staff are nice, unlike so many others I have encountered in the medical world, and Dr. Randolph is thorough, precise & has a professional, courteous attitude in his practice. What a great place to find care. Highly recommend.

Mars Parks Had this appt scheduled since January. I received a text message before my appointment to check in. I checked in for my appointment on my phone, in the lobby, at 10:30am. I sat right in front of the receptionist. My appointment was scheduled for 11. At 11:30, I walked up to the front desk girl and asked her about my appointment. She told me that we would have to reschedule because my appointment was at 11. I told her I checked in and was sitting right in front of her for an hour, that I had waited a month for this appointment and really need to be seen today. She told me that everyone was too busy. I asked to speak with an office manager, she told me they didn’t have one and would take a message for the doctor and then scheduled me out to April. I sat, directly in front of this girl for an hour waiting for my appointment, after I checked in on my phone. Why not say something to the person if the check in didn’t go through? Why not acknowledge the person in general that’s sitting, waiting in your lobby? I was the only person in there, majority of the time waiting. Taking this poor practice as a sign to find another doctor.

Andrea Schaffrath-Stracuzzi 0/10 Would NOT recommend. My husband was a patient for fewer than 6mos. From the very first appointment, the Physicians Assistant disregarded my husbands thoughts and feelings regarding his medical history and future treatment. During his most recent and LAST appointment, rather than calmly, intelligently and receptively discussing treatment options, the doctor enters the exam room with a passive aggressive and nauseatingly cheerful tone in his voice and said to my husband , among other things "We never have to deal with eachother again" and to "Go back where he came from". I dont know what this dudes problem is. Perhaps he was having a bad day. Regardless, that neither justifies NOR excuses his behavior and verbiage. My husband had prescriptions that needed to be refilled and we were forced to find a new doctor. If youre a patient who appreciates a constructive and supportive atmosphere where your wishes and input are seriously considered by your treating physician... We advise against this doctor. If you have too many questions regarding their treatment plan for you then we strongly suggest against this particular doctor. As evidenced by other reviews left, this person doesnt like being questioned and will promptly dismiss you from treatment at the slightest inconvenience... We had this experience so you dont have to

Rhonda Shoupe It is truly a wonderful hospital. Dr. Patel is amazing! She immediately spotted a problem with the mixture of meds I am prescribed to take daily. She took one of them away altogether and I was fixed! Great facility is nice and very clean. staff is so very kind, patient and helpful. Only negative is I missed when you used to get a some ice and water with a cup by your bed as well as hygiene products to clean up a little. Over all wonderful place.

Red Miller Pleasantly surprised and somewhat impressed, are the first two things that came to mind when I walked into HCA Florida Lake City Hospital. The facility is laid out well, directional signage is very good, parking was cramped and very full (not sure if it was a bad day or what), the staff were friendly and attentive, and the entire facility was very clean and orderly. Again, I was pleasantly surprised and a little impressed by the level of order in the chaos that is medicine in America. Although I hope I dont need to go back, I wouldnt be upset knowing I was coming here.
