2 /5 Kimberly Phares: My father was admitted to the ER while my mother was upstairs in a room dying after over a month long stay. They were kind enough to let my father go up and say goodbye.
After she passed I went down stairs to the ER where my father had been for 3 hours already. 2 hours later the nurse said she was sending in the physician. 45 min later we called the ER desk to inquire when the Dr was coming in that it had been 45 min. “There are other people here and you are not the priority now.” I said excuse me were you really just that rude. “No just being honest” was the response.
I would like to personally thank ARIEL for letting me know that a patient in the ER at HealthPark was not a priority. I realize they had no idea he had just lost his wife of over 50 years but you would think someone working in the ER would have more compassion.
