5 /5 Jason Troop: I was looking for a local alternative to the dealership, as I am off warranty and find they seem to pad their bottom line on service. Having seen HQ many times, living off Lockwood, I was happy to see their reviews were excellent and clearly dealt with an issue my truck was having with the fuel vapor system.
Not only did Edgar, the owner, get me in on a Saturday morning, but his guys identified the location of the problem with a smoke test and updated me at every step. They found the issue involved a hose above the fuel tank, an area that normally would require dropping the tank-- several more hours of labor. One of the mechanics was small enough to actually place himself into the area where the hose was and access it.
Once he did so, a part was picked up by Edgars father (family business) and I was all set and out the door by midday. The price was more than reasonable for time spent, parts, and work done, and everyone at the shop seemed happy to be there and enjoying their work. I know I will be using this shop again for keeping my truck on the road for years to come.
