1 /5 Lyndsay Morgan: Money Money Money. I had an ER visit a year ago that my insurance picked up. A small bill slipped thru the cracks so I resent it to them they said they would get it handled. But until this SMALL bill is taken care of these people would not make an appointment what so ever. Mind you TINY amount of money. I could pay it but I pay insurance thats why I have it. I have never encountered a place so greedy and the staff be so incredibly hateful. I said the Dr referred me to your office to make an appointment within 3 days. "Well that doesnt mean you get seen in 3 days and you have a balance so you need to talk to patient accounts anyway" ummm I know I wouldnt be seen in 3 days i was just letting you know how I ended up calling your office...but thanks for your kind soul. The lady was so short and so hateful. Not to mention I was on hold for 45 minutes prior to getting a human. Going to a cancer center is scary as it stands. But to have to argue of pennies in the dollar and be spoken to like garbage I feel sorry for the people who have no choice but to go here. Shame on you all!

2 /5 pJ noneyourbusiness: My husband went there, he had to get a catheter removed, while the nurses were prepping. One nurse dropped a glove on the floor. Then she attempted to pick it up and put it on her hand. I told her to throw that glove away and dont use it. No wonder patients get infections, she needs to go back to school. Need to get people who are more educated.

There’s a lady at the front in Section C she’s a young beautiful brown woman, she has gotten me in quickly and if I had to wait it wouldn’t be long. I appreciate her a lot made my visit wonderful. As well I loved my nurse Amber H. she’s very sweet and gets the job done, took care of me nicely. I recommend this place 100%.

1 /5 Posey Williams: I feel lakeland regional & hollis cancer center failed my mother & thats the reason she passed away 2 months after even being diagnosed. They looked her in the eyes and told her not to worry she will be ok & has a high hopes for beating this cancer. I lost my mom too soon & too fast and i blame them.

Breanna Canarie: Overcharged me for my visit and billed my insurance twice for the same procedure. I spoke with them about a refund and they told me they were working on it. I called back a little over a month later and they claimed they had no record of me even talking to someone and then denied my refund saying that I had future visits coming up and they couldn’t refund me. They are crooks. Go somewhere else.

Kaitlyn Friedman: If I could give this hospital a 0 I would!! I have never had such a horrific experience in my life! I went in because I was having pain in my ankle that I previously had surgery on as a child. They put me in a room in a corner in a wheelchair I couldn’t move myself. They kept putting people that said they were sick or had Covid in my room. Gave shots in peoples butts in front of me. My mom moved me to a recliner chair by herself which was disgusting but I needed to put my ankle up. A lady came in who was a nurse and told me the hardware in my ankle is loose and they have to do surgery. I waited 10+ hours for a room. Never saw a doctor only a “admitting doctor” who just asked me what I’m allergic to and what medications I take. There was one lady who was running around with shots in her pocket. She said she’s a paramedic and there’s no nurses on the floor right now. She asked to borrow my charger for a patient who was sick. They didn’t give me pain meds for hours. When she came in to give it to me she asked where my Iv I told her I don’t have one. She then was looking for one. I told her I am not a veiny person and she needs a ultrasound. She told me she found a vein and I said that one looks very tiny and I think it will blow. She said “we will see.” She then blew my vein OF COURSE!! She ran away with me screaming and crying.LEFT ALL THAT BLOODY STUFF ON MY CHINESE FOOD!! Didn’t treat the injury she gave me!! My mom looked up what to do and put a really cold paper towel on top with pressure and looked for someone to help me. The leader nurse came in and talked to me about giving me an IV in the morning and staying. I said I want to be transferred she said no because they have the equipment here to treat me. I left against medical advice. I went to Baptist in downtown Jacksonville they said I had a sprain and that this was an unnecessary surgery and that they never heard of such a thing. My x-rays were the same as it was 4 years ago no movement or loose screw. So in conclusion they put me in a corner in a room that wasn’t even my own with no bed and in pain. I didn’t see a doctor and they put me in danger of getting sick by putting these sick people in my room who confirmed verbally they were sick. They gave shots in front of me to other people in their private areas. They didn’t give me pain meds for hours. They blew my vein and could’ve done a unnecessary procedure that could’ve broken my ankle or harm me for life. I am so upset!!! (By the way I have been here a couple of times and they always are rude and make you wait very long and you see them treat people so inhumanely and disgustingly… old people and black people I’ve seen them be extremely rude while nice to young white people… I thought it was just a coincidence but this hospital really is racist! They as well had a 12 year old boy screaming and crying for his mom and the paramedic was rolling her eyes and laughing and said I’m glad he isn’t my patient… (which was during this experience btw) THEY HAVE NO CONSIDERATION AND ARE INCOMPETENT but even though I’ve witnessed this none of lead me to write a review until this experience !) THANK GOD I didn’t have surgery there. (Blue X-ray is 2020 and purple is 2024 looks the exact same)

Christy Holt: Im so thankful thats where I went when I was sick. They took extraordinary care of me. I was so impressed with the cleanses of my room. I could not ask for a better care from the nursing Staff on the fourth floor. The food delivery people were super professional very nice. The nurses aid that took your blood pressure and status. Every three hours were very nice. I could not have been in a better place. I have the best surgeon in the whole area. Dr. Fletcher is amazing. I cannot say enough about Santa Rosa Medical Center, thank God for them! I was there 9 days. So I had time to see a lot experience a lot.

Everything was clearly explained to me except for one issue, which I will discuss with the appropriate person involved, as that was my only negative experience and the issue has not yet been addressed with him. Overall my stay was recuperating and informative as well as very reassuring for me. I wish to thank whole heartedly, the staff attending me, especially. They made me feel as if my comfort and well being was of the utmost importance.

DarkValkyrie512: My mother was practically neglected while she was staying her. I found her wet in her bed and she said she had been like that for an hour. The nurse was rude to me and trying to pick a fight while we were in the ICU with my mother. Not to mention they kept pressuring her to do procedures she felt were unnecessary. Avoid at all costs. You and your families deserve better care.
