Dr. Bailey did a quick exam prescribed two prescriptions and also let us know to come back if she didn’t get better in four days. Today is the fourth day and she is getting better. She argued with me because I had two forms of health insurance (totally legig, its called secondary insurance). She then argued with me about needing a transplant coordinator before I can get a referral to a cardiologist and get a colonoscopy. So, I called Fresenius Kidney Care and my Nephrologist and they both confirmed that I need to be cleared by a cardiologist and get a colonoscopy before I meet with a transplant coodinator. Jennifer is a know-it-all but really doesnt know it all. She also never asked how I was feeling or showed any compassion. I had a much more positive experience with a nurse at Cleveland Clinic who was just giving me a pre-surgical check than I got with Jennifer. Jennifer all but kicked me out of the office and told me to come back in 6 weeks, further delaying my clearance for the transplant list. I ended up just doing a tele-health appointment and getting both referrals.
