2 /5 James Boydston: My emergency room visit was fine. Michael, my nurse did a great job… However, when I came back with my mother, I experienced far less positive treatment. The emergency room staff was great, but once they got up to the progressive care unit, Rachel, the nurse Was rude and completely unprofessional. Not only in the way that she addressed my wife and I, but also how she addressed the doctor. My wife, being an RN herself, understands proper protocol on addressing disagreements. If anybody from the administration would like to contact me to discuss this further, I am open for conversation.

5 /5 Matt: The hospital is beautiful, all departments are well marked. The staff from outpatient desk, Diagnostic Testing,Patient Registration so helpful, friendly and personable. Pre-op staff excellent, nurses explained everything before the procedure was done.Operating Room Nurses and Drs were great. Explained procedure prior happening.I was in recovery before I knew it. My Nurse was fabulous, very compassionate, anticipated my questions. Recovery Room. Fabulous as well. Explained all Discharge paperwork.!Very positive experience.

5 /5 Karl Glasbrenner: Went in for an outpatient surgery requiring general anesthesia. Registration was quick and easy. Staff was professional and friendly. Surgery occurred on time, as did discharge. Surgical staff were very personable and answered all my questions. Recovery room nurse was excellent. I previously had major open heart surgery at Manatee and was in-patient for 12 days, with the same high quality treatment. I would highly recommend Manatee Memorial Hospital for medical care!

4 /5 Georgianne Evans: I had outpatient surgery at the hospital. The surgical nurses were efficient and informative. The only thing I didn’t like was that an emergency surgery had to be done before mine so I had a really long wait, which I did not mind, but nobody told me about it or offered to turn on the Tv or anything. Finally after all other nurses left, the last nurse there told me what happened and got the TV on for me. I was admitted overnight in the main hospital and everyone there was wonderful. Thanks to all that took care of me in both places. Just that one little glitch.
