Nail Me Good - St. Petersburg (FL)

1 /5 Connie Saleh: When you first walk in it smells so strongly of nail fumes that I literally could not breath for a minute. I do not frequent nail salons often but I have never smelled something like that before. I got a basic gel manicure, my first ever. The nail tech, an older woman, used a nail grinder on my cuticles to the point where one was bleeding, profusely. The polish itself is all over my skin and under my nails. The edges of my nails are sharp because the gel polish sticks out and was not filed down after... sticking out to the point where I could literally scratch something they are so sharp. A really bad first experience. My friend also got gel done at the same time, from a male worker, and hers came out amazing! Dramatic range of quality depending on the nail tech.

1 /5 Hallie Latham: My friend and I both got our eyebrows waxed here. Great shape…. When she did the center of my eyebrows (unibrow) she took off too much on the right eyebrow on both of us. Not even at all. (Don’t mind the redness just super sensitive skin)

5 /5 Raquel Conner: She did a wonderful job on my pedicure! I needed some extra care and rest during my pregnancy and my nail tech was thorough, made it so relaxing (the massage felt amazing), and she was very kind. I will definitely be back any time I visit the area!

3 /5 Rosalie Thompson: Place was empty when I came in. Asked for the step above the regular pedicure which was $40. The lady was nice enough but she gripped my feet so hard when she was rubbing them and didn’t even put a base coat on my nails. There was another girl that walked in after me that said she had an appointment but they made her wait while the other staff was in the back doing who knows what even though there was no one in the place other than her and I. This place is nothing special. Sorry not sorry. Cool name though

1 /5 Aliyah Yepes: “Yea they Nail Me Good alright” I went there to get my nails done for thanksgiving I got the fill and gel they originally set the price at $35 $15 extra for gel and to paint, I selected black color and ended up with a charge of $80 the gel and paint came off I had wait 2 days to come back she tells me that I have to spend $2 for a mask let alone I had to come back and spend gas to get there and my time, she has the nerve to tell me I would have pay for this and I would have to select a different color other then black because her black was bad and she knew it and Admitted to it she still applied it on my nails wanted to change the color of my nails, make sure you get a solid price out of these people before you get your nails done, I will never ever ever again recommend or go to this salon again very poor choice she made and she lost a few customer today and look at the review under mine and see her replay her excuse was that the wheee really busy that day omg unrealistic We found another very professional and lovely place to get our nails done, it’s on central and it’s called “ “Nouvelle Beauty Bar”
