Maria C Torres, MD - Titusville
Thor: It’s a pleasure to recommend Dr. Torres. I’ve relocated from Boston, MA right as the pandemic started. I had a great PCP in Boston that was attentive and felt he had my best interest. So, I was fearful having to start over with a new physician, especially today! Today’s physicians are owned by big hospital systems and your treated like cattle. The system doesn’t have the physicians focus on the bedside manner nor eye contact with the patient as the physician is always looking at their computer, typing away and so-called “listening”. When your done with that visit, you leave feeling not heard or more confused before you met with the physician. So, you just continue with that model of physician because, why change? Why ask for more from your physician? Why demand the attention that’s needed for that visit? Shoot, the visit isn’t free, your paying them for a service and they are going to darn well charge you for everything! Now, about Dr. Torres. I’ve been blessed that have her as my primary care physician! Dr, Torres greats you and takes you directly to the exam room herself where she starts to have a face to face conversation with you regarding the reason for the visit and discussion on your underlying needs. For me, I had no clue I lived with cancer for so many years. Dr. Torres was brave enough to question my previous PCP’s diagnosis & results for me. So glad she did. With further testing that Dr. Torres ordered, I was diagnosed with cancer and 4 months latter, I was in the hospital to rid the cancer from my body. Now, I have much respect for Dr. Torres as I feel safe and understood in our visits. Dr. Torres is attentive to requests for refills of medications or questions. Also, her staff is amazing! Stephine who welcomes you when you arrive or speak with on the phone, is one awesome individual. It’s always a joy speaking with her. Little perspective of me, I’m a 39 year old male, married with 3 children under the age of 10. Dr. Torres has families respect and faith with our health care wellbeing. Now, my wife has transitioned to Dr. Torres and feels the same as I do about her. That should speak enough about how Dr. Torres carries herself as a healthcare physician.
Parrish Wound Healing Center - Titusville
Victoria Morey: I was very nervous for my wound care appointment. I was happily greeted by Thelma. She was a gem on the phone last week. Sherry the nurse took me back and prepared me with great care. She explained everything perfectly to me. She was great. Then Dr allotta and Megan walked in. They were the epitome of amazing both humorous to make me comfortable and professional to give me confidence. I cannot say how welcome and how comfortable I felt. In the end Melissa came in and did my cleaning and taught me how to take care of it. she was very understanding and explanatory, and I feel confident leaving, knowing that my wound is taken care of and that I will be able to clean it myself. I am so pleased with the staff. I cannot even tell you thank you so much for being so helpful and professional.
Dr. Ashok Shah, MD, PA - Titusville
Ed Wilson: Changed Medicare Advantage Plan on 1/1/25 and they assigned the wrong PCP. Called member services supervisor who approved an appointment I had with Shah on 1/9. Shah’s Secretary called on 1/8 to confirm appointment the following day. I explained the circumstances and she said I could not have an appointment until Shah was identified as PCP. I told her it was approved and if they didn’t pay it that I would out of pocket. Been a patient for years. Called to talk to Shah. She said he was aware. Very disappointing Shah didn’t have the courtesy to speak with me. If you don’t mind a rude Secretary controlling your healthcare, this office is for you. I’m going elsewhere.
Dr. Rameshbhai P. Patel, MD - Titusville
Debbie Pihl: My husband was referred to Dr Patel to have a Port surgically installed for chemotherapy. Dr Patel gave very good information about the port and how it would be installed maintenanced and removed. Both installation surgery and office removal were performed very successfully. My husband only had chemo for 6 weeks and the Port was in for 2 years just to make sure he didn’t have to have more chemo after his colon surgery. We liked Dr Patel’s professionalism, his helpful staff and very clean facility.
Neurology Headache & Pain Clinic - Titusville
Cheri Kharsah: I can say the staff is professional, knowledgeable. Call you in, sit you down, run down the list of questions, type it in the computer, leave. Not personable at all. Dr Shenoy is the same. You are in, and you are out. Do not expect to have much conversation, or even a smile, this may cause a conflict in their strict regimen. Not a friendly environment. You will receive good care. Professional attitudes and necessary care. I dont need my emotions caressed however there are times when someone shows you that they are kind, concerned, friendly- it sure turns a person that has pain, hard time sleeping, or just trying to get through the day without giving up, a bit of pleasure to see or talk to a person that has a smile on their face, kind attitude, friendliness about them. Thankful for the care.
Parrish Home Health - Titusville
Finley Daniels: My grandmother is on service with Parrish Home Health and our family is very grateful for the wonderful care that is being provided to her. She has gotten stronger, can walk a longer distance and has gained a better understanding of what her medications are for and what she should and should not be eating. All around amazing staff including the nurses, and physical therapists that she has been seen by over the past few months.
John W. Flaherty, MD - Titusville
Stephen Gasecki: Dr Flaherty has been my primary care physician for over 10yrs. As a Harbor pilot USCG require extensive annual physical examination. Very professional, excellent bedside manner, and takes time diagnosing individual medical symptoms, explaining recommended treatments, prescribing controlled medications, and most importantly follow up care. Should you require further medical treatment Dr Flaherty will recommend the best local specialist and coordinate referral. All Patients now require appointment only no walk-in. As a primary care MD Dr Flaherty is one of the best for all your family medical needs. Not a stop & shop doc whatsoever. Go to any strip mall clinic but if you truly want a professional primary care physician he’s one of Brevard County finest !
Jayesh V. Patel, D.O. - Titusville
Dr. Roderick H. Salach, DO - Titusville
Kathryn Kozlowski: Rediculas. That 1 star you see isnt accurate. 0 stars is how I rate my experience. I was referred here in March. Because of the virus, the office wasnt open. I understand that. I left messages to get my name in the book for when they reopened. No return calls. When I finally got a person that acted like I was the first person to make a new patient appointment. I should have just found anther Dr. Right then! All was sent from my family Dr. To them. I have blue cross PPO. Dr. Salach is on my network. I wait the 2 weeks still living in pain, take the day off, only to come in and be denied treatment! They claim the needed insurance authorization. They had my phone number wrong, go figure. But they had my Dr. Info, my address, my email. They could have gotten a hold of me. Their office called me after I had the appointment to make me an appointment! I informed the person that I already made the appointment. So, somebody had my correct phone number. Now, I get to wait for a new patient appointment with another office and start the process all over. Thank you for nothing Dr. Salach and office staff. Nothing like trying to work with your patients.
Dr. Jeram P Chapla - Titusville
Neohuman: My wife had her first appointment with Dr. Shapla and he made her cry. He might be a good doctor, I dont know, but his bedside manners are terrible. He is uncaring, not companionate and just rude. My wife is a strong woman but this Dr. is something else.
