I had a 10:30 appointment as a new patient and knew something was wrong when I walked in and the staff was yelling at one of the patients (who stated his appointment was over an hour ago and he was still waiting) that they were understaffed and that he could cancel his appointment if he wanted to. I should have walked out then but against my better judgement I sat down and noticed several others were reporting the same thing, that they had been there for over an hour past their scheduled time and were waiting to get their teeth cleaned. I gave the place the benefit of the doubt and waited, but an hour later I noticed that people who were coming in with later appointments were getting in before me and the others. This was the last straw for me. If you as a business owner or medical provider cannot staff your business adequately so that you can actually meet the appointment times you schedule with your patients, you should not offer appointment style scheduling. Your front staff also needs to to improve their social skills and learn manners, they were demeaning and rude to anyone who addressed the scheduling concerns with them. I’d probably still be waiting if I hadn’t cancelled my appointment. Save your time and find another dentist to go to.
