1 /5 Crystal Gray: I had some dental work done and needed two partials. I went in to get them and my dentist had left the practice so I got a new dentist. He said that the partials were not done correctly and they would need to remake them. He also told me my bottom teeth remaining would eventually need to be pulled and I should do cleanings every 3 months. Ok. I came back to pick up my new partials and the office manager presented me with a form to sign saying I was releasing them of all claims, grievances, costs, liabilities related to partials. Furthermore the form states I cannot talk or say anything against sage. I said I would not sign that form. I even seen the new partials yet. She let me go in and get my partials. She approached me again asking me to sign. I said no. She said they should not have given me my partials which I had bought and paid for. Thank goodness they were in my mouth already. Today I go for a regular exam and cleaning. Jessica called me and stated she had spoken to my dentist and I didn’t need cleaning because the teeth will eventually fall out but that I could come in and see dentist. Again she asked me for the form. I went in and told the dentist I had a filling fall out on top along with a cavity on the top. They had never said anything about pulling top teeth. Dentist told my the partials are only temporary and that I would need full dentures eventually. He then said he would not replace my filling or do the dental work and I didn’t need cleanings as it wouldn’t do anything. And he’s not the dentist for me. I was on my way out and was told Jessica wants to see me. I wonder if not signing form is the reason they won’t treat. Obviously it is. And why is an office manager speaking to a doctor at all about my care. Very unethical trying to pressure someone to sign away their rights
