3 /5 allison montgomery: I was visiting Tallahassee and decided to check this park out. I had high hopes. This park is nestled inside a residential area. A nearby resident was blasting their music and it was easily heard for about 1/4 mile. The trails were great but if youre allergic to poison ivy, be aware there is a lot of it around. The dog park would be a hit for your dogs. However, I did not see an area for smaller dogs. There did seem to be a large area for the dogs to run and play. There were restrooms on-site with a small playground as well. It was great to get some fresh air.

4 /5 Dustin Booth: I brought my son here yesterday morning, and we played till about noon. When I first arrived, a guy and girl walked out of the womens bathroom. Then, they walked off as we came up. The overall park is beautiful. There was trash in the playground area, but not a lot, and a worker came by and picked it up while we were there. The playground needs to be revamped. The slide literally has holes in it, the zip line is missing its handle, and they have steps blocked off. I think the should completelt redo this playground. I saw two other cars come up and a girl got in the car with a guy in the other, I could smell cannabis coming from the car from the playground as they were parked close. And even when leaving, I passed a car with someone who was standing outside it and smoking a joint (you could see the roach) with the driver.

5 /5 The Golden Armor: Pretty quiet. Clean and spacious. Plenty of shades, and benches. Nice clean lake. Has bathrooms and water fountains. Cute turtles and birds

5 /5 Ginger Coulter: Great piece of history right here in the Panhandle of Florida (Tallahassee). Beautifully maintained. There is a sort film you can watch before exploring the grounds. Live "actors" roam the grounds in full character costume with very insightful information.

Lafayette Heritage Trail Park - Tallahassee Joseph Betlow: Beautiful park overlooking the lake, the trails go on for miles, going around the lake and lain to the other parks, the lake itself is a great place to go fishing, canoeing, or just sight seeing, there are great mountain bike trails on the outside, following the hiking trail, the trails are well kept and the weather is great and its stays pretty cool from the lake. The playground is pretty decent and well kept. There is a small mountain bike course at the beginning of the trail. There is plenty of parking and the lake is easily accessible from the parking, there is a small boat ramp in belive at one part of the lake. The bridge on the other side is beautiful and had a great view of the lake! Overall its a great place to go on a short, or long hike under a beautiful canopy of large trees, and around the lake.

Capital Cascades Trail Park - Tallahassee Perry Lakedra “Kittykandy”: loved my kid and I enjoyed every hour we spent out there today she made lots of new friends and we was able to find a nice shaded tree to have a picnic.

Knott House Museum - Tallahassee Lib Watson: I took an Urban Sketching class I teach from the Tallahassee Senior Center there. We enjoyed the exterior because it was closed. But I must say that this area has some of the most beautiful architecture in Tallahassee. The turn of the century homes with gorgeous details and lovely lawns. Large oaks with moss and ferns adorn the park across the street. That block between Gadsden and Monroe at Park right at the east end of the Chain of Parks is a show stopper!

Museum of Florida History - Tallahassee Nick Unthank: Great little museum. We went during construction so the route was a little wonky but there were some very inventive displays. Free museum but welcomes donations and is deceptively packed with items throughout Florida history. Well worth the visit for visitors of all ages. Pay close attention to the tourism display for some awesome memorabilia from tourist attractions of the Sunshine States past.

Ninth & Terrace Park - Tallahassee Sue Martindale: My grandson had a T-ball game at this park. The field was very nice and perfectly prepared despite the threat of rain. Theres a nice playground adjacent to the field that can be used before or after the game or by siblings. The only downside is a complete lack of parking and that the field is not accessible for Gramps and his walker.

J. R. Alford Greenway - Tallahassee Jennifer Fehr: Great place to walk around and see alligators, turtles and dogs. Easy walk with no elevation - nice views of the water - excellent trails. Better to stay on more walking than MTB trails to avoid bikes. I think we went 3 or 4 miles - there are restrooms at some of the areas and plenty of people so it feels safe.

Treacherous Tallahassee Ghost Tours & Haunted Pub Crawls - Tallahassee Hannah Forehand: The tour guide arrived on time and showed different locations, explaining some of the history and it makes me want to delve into the history of each place more. It was a nice walk and a fun thing to do with friends

Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park - Tallahassee Tomas Vivas: Very glad I kept driving past all the park entrances to find Gate B. Well maintained trail that had a large number of branches making it very repeatable for future trips. Absolutely loved the tranquility and diversity here. Was pleasantly surprised with the bat house, awesome mixing of park and biodiversity maintinence

Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens - Williston Brandy Carley Independent Scentsy Director: Beautiful botanical garden. We came across this place by accident after snorkeling at Devils Den Spring. I was a little concerned because we were still wearing bathing suits with cover ups and sandals. The terrain is very easy to get around, even if you forget your walking shoes. I had questions and the people who checked us is were so nice and helpful addressing our concerns. One of the ladys said I could even go into the waterfall if I wanted to. So happy we were able to, because had we changed from our swimsuits, I would have never gotten to experience it. We had a great time and I would recommend to anyone planning to visit. While we had some light snacks on hand, my only regret is that I would have brought more food to do a picnic lunch.
