5 /5 Janette Garcia: Please do not hesitate to have a loved one transferred to Select Specialty Hospital Miami. There comes a time in life where one needs to make difficult decisions for your loved ones and choosing this hospital was one of the easiest processes for me. I have encountered my share of personnel in the medical industry and the admissions department at Select Miami made this the smoothest and most stress free for me. My loved one was transferred from Jackson South within 4 hours of receiving the RX for transfer. His room was accommodated immediately, and I was called the minute he arrived and informed on his state of being. Communication is so important, and I cannot stress enough that we all live hectic lives, and unfortunately cannot be at a hospital 24-7, but here at Select Specialty Hospital Miami communication happens on a daily and was and has been top key. Not to mention you can call and are treated with care and compassion, theres patience over the phone to exchange information on the patient, which in many hospitals this case is very different. I would like to take the time to mention accouple of people that made an impact for me, and I apologize for not knowing some of the titles, Charge Nurse Yashira, Celso, Doris, Nurses Station Xuchil and Isa, The CNAs who do their job with a smile asking if theres anything else they can do to accommodate the patient and the family, Odalys, Ana, & Katia. The physical therapy team who takes the time to explain and repeat themselves on range of motion importance. The Doctors compassionate way of explaining what process will work better for the patient and exactly what will be done in his favor. Ivan & Grace from respiratory taking their time on always making sure the bipap machine is working to the patients needs and comfort. An employee gentleman named Danny would pass by just to conversate with my loved one to say hello and how was his day going. I havent received or seen this level of care or human connection in any other hospital he has been at since February. You see the care from the beginning with admissions to the date of arrival and the during process time of stay at the hospital. Everything flows from day one. I cannot stress enough that the staff is amazing, and we are all very pleased with the level of care. Thank you and God Bless all of you.

5 /5 D Torrice: Wonderful facility and staff. Eveeyone we encountered was so caring and humane. Very clean and pleasant environment. So glad we chose it for my mom’s care. Very grateful for the care she received. The Lord bless you all for what you do, taking such kind care of people and their loved ones in their worst times.

5 /5 EVY: I was hesitant because I had mixed feelings about Victoria but this place is completely independent and WONDERFUL. I am from out of state and have to leave my 92yr old dad here and I feel complete confidence he is in the most capable caring hands possible. Every single person I have come in contact with has really been so great.. Ill update again at the end of his stay but for now its been the biggest blessing to me and my dad.

5 /5 Zeth Rotsac: I am writing this because I want to express my sincere appreciation and was very pleased with my experience with Select Specialty Hospital Miami as a family member. I can be a hard critic of hospital care places and the staff employed by them since i myself work in the medical field. This time is my first time to write a review i can tell that this hospital was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with professionalism and caring medical staff. When I say the doctors and all the other employees of this hospital made me and my whole family feel that my mother in safe hands and made it as comfortable as they possibly could. This was the best team of medical staff, ( doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dietician, respiratory and rehab therapists), administration and case managers were very supportive of all family decisions and you can just believe they are the best. I am truly grateful and I appreciated all the willingness to answer questions, provided daily updates, get the problems resolved and treated my mother with respect, compassionate and tender loving care. Because they really do care. Thank you so much for providing such wonderful service and for providing with an exceptional experience.

5 /5 Capture Today: From the day my family and I toured the Select Specialty hospital we enjoyed the vibe and flow we could both see and feel between the staff members. Which is something that carried over throughout the 3 months my mother was there. I believe it is worth noting that all of the employees have worked there for 10 to 20 years. That speaks volumes about the work place. Which in my opinion carry’s over into the patient experience and care. My mother, age 59 was transferred from Baptist to Select Specialty on a ventilator after having had two strokes. Between the Nurses, Nurses Assistants, Respiratory Therapist and Doctors. She was well looked after 24hrs of the day. Any questions we had were almost always immediately answered or were at some point addressed by the appropriate staff member. Time was always taken to explain medications and/or procedures. The positive reinforcement and smiles came in abundance. I honestly have nothing bad to say about her care and our experience there. Although, if you asked my mother. Her only complaint would be the food. This was easily remedied, by working with the staff to make sure we brought in pre-approved foods from home or local restaurants whenever possible. I would highly recommend the Select Specialty Hospital in Miami. The last thing I would note for anyone who is having to bring a loved one to this or any other hospital. Physically being there for them as much as possible goes a very long way in their recovery. I wish you and your loved ones all the best in the journey that is their own road to recovery.
