1 /5 Candace Swanner-Ray: My experience with Southern Internal Medicine has been extremely disappointing. Despite my husband’s serious health issues requiring ongoing care, he was abruptly dismissed as a patient without any explanation. We repeatedly reached out for assistance with critical FMLA paperwork—needed due to his frequent ER visits—but our calls went unanswered. This lack of communication and accountability not only jeopardized his care but also added a significant burden on our family. Sadly, it appears we are not the only ones facing these issues. I urge prospective patients to exercise caution when considering this practice.
