3 /5 Kaory Teruya: I’ve been going there for 2 years for a variety of services, and hadn’t had a poor experience until a couple days ago. I went there for a gel pedicure and the lady buffed off my skin, making an open wound on my big toe, and the whole cuticle cleaning process was very painful. After the cuticle cleaning I asked her for no color anymore- she asked why, and I told her “because you cut me and I don’t want those chemicals touching my skin”. She said “I can go around it”, I said no and she just said “Ok”, not even an apology. I paid in full and the owner/manager did ask me if I had I relaxing time- I said “Aside from getting my toe cut, the massage was great!” She said “oops” and I left. I’ll look for somewhere the technicians are more interested in making the client comfortable and less about getting them out of the salon quickly.
