5 /5 Molly H: They opened a new wing and renamed the place from Polk art museum. Not only do they have masterpieces, in the new wing they have chihuly blown glass, pottery, fabric art, bronze statues and large items. You visit for free. They also have a gift shop

It’s facility is throughly world class, has free admission for all and has fascinating collections featuring Warhol to Renoir type impressionist art, rare Jazz Artists photography, Pop and abstract art and ceramic and marble sculptures. The museum volunteers are well versed in the collections and are very genuine and friendly. Do not miss this gem of a art museum.

SUN n FUN Aerospace Expo - Adam O.: Such a beautiful airshow and perfect place to take anyone you know thats remotely interested in aviation all the way to someone who is flying their own experimental aircraft into the field to camp for the week. Aviators in the area cannot miss this annual event. Aspiring pilots or those looking to get picked up by airlines also should come, and come prepared to speak with companies at the career tent. There is great pilot gear, experimental aircraft parts, merch, and of course, the unforgettable airshow and thousands of beautiful aircraft that show up every year. Its impossible to not have fun!

The park offers fantastic volunteering opportunities, each one not only contributing to its growth but also offering valuable learning experiences. Every detail of the park reflects thoughtful design and exceptional construction.

Common Ground Playground - Lakeland Mike Mike: Common Ground Playground at Edgewood Park is a fantastic spot for kids! It offers plenty of shade, picnic tables, a great play area for children, bathrooms and ample parking. A perfect place for family outings!

Holloway Park - Lakeland Cheryl Bauman: Excellent location to walk your dogs, go on a hike, take wildlife photography, play disc golf, chase your children around, on run some trails! I took my dogs here again recently and had a blast! My only wish is they would stay open until 8PM instead of 7PM since it’s cooler out later in the evening for my pups. There is a lot of parking on the trails, but none that were pavement if that matters for you. This would be a great location for a 5K race. There was a potapotty that I did use and it was clean. There is also a water spigot at the end of the disc golf trail side near the parking area. There is also a little pond that would be a cute place to picnic.

Chitwood Covered Bridge Mural - Lakeland Michael Mutz: This is a pleasant mural bringing life to a back alley in historic Lakeland! If you are in the area, drive by and take a look!

Lake Morton - Lakeland Adela: The lake is beautiful. It was hard to find parking near a picnic table because they were either full or no parking spot near by so we ended up eating in the car but the scenery was still beautiful with the swans and ducks. So peaceful

Circle B Bar Reserve - Lakeland Reese Parker: Loved the scenery. Nature at its finest for sure. Loved the free parking and free entry to this place. Make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes when coming here. I learned the hard way (I had on flip flops) We got to see lots of alligators up close and personal. Saw lots of birds and even a turtle. The people visiting were very nice and repeat visitors too. The workers were very pleasant and spoke to us giving us information for future visits as far as tours etc. This was a definite work out and make sure you bring lots of water to stay hydrated when walking here !!

Escapology Escape Rooms Lakeland - Lakeland Jennifer Smith: Amazing experience. Took our whole team so no one was left out. Super staff. Friendly. So helpful with clues! Made it out barely with 2-1/2 minutes to go!

Dobbins Park - Lakeland Sheldon Bryant: Excellent, small-sized park. Its wide open and lit by the sky with good sized pavilions as well as play areas for kids. The park could be safer if it were not off a main street, but the through traffic isnt too bad.
