The Quay Crew I had the privilege of taking a welding course with Mr. Myron Burt, and I cannot speak highly enough about his teaching and expertise. From the very first day, Mr. Burt created a positive and encouraging learning environment. His approach is patient, methodical, and tailored to each student’s skill level, making even the most complex techniques easy to understand.
What sets Mr. Burt apart is his genuine passion for welding, which is contagious. He doesn’t just teach the technical skills; he shares the artistry and craftsmanship behind the work. He takes the time to explain not only the “how” but also the “why” behind each process, ensuring that every student grasps the fundamentals and advanced concepts.
His hands-on teaching style ensures that you get plenty of practice, and he’s always available to give constructive feedback and guidance. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, Mr. Burt’s personalized attention makes all the difference. I walked away from his course with a deep respect for the trade and confidence in my abilities.
If you have the chance to learn from Mr. Myron Burt, do not hesitate. His expertise, patience, and passion for welding make him an outstanding instructor. I feel incredibly fortunate to have learned from such a dedicated professional.

ick lun To begin I loved my professor he is quite literally the most honest professor in this school. His name is Mr.Acosta he is the Applied Cybersecurity teacher and I had the best time in that class I learned a lot from him and not only about cybersecurity but about more in life in general. He is very straightforward with you and he will treat you like an adult, I feel like that’s the best part about him he gives it to you straight. His class could get intense if your not dedicated to wanting to learn but if your motivated then he will know he can see that. The school however I didn’t like at all they don’t treat you like an adult like I am paying for this class with my money… treat me like an adult. I attempted to order food since I didn’t bring any lunch and my brother needed my car the moment it was delivered i grab it and some random women came and took it later i learned she was the assistant principal her name was Dr. Sloan.. I can’t understand why she felt the need to take me food from me but she took it…. she took my mcdonald’s uber eats and said it wasn’t allowed if you know me I am extremely shy and I stood there in disbelief that she just took my food and said I have to pick it up when class was over as if i was a high schooler. I am an adult woman paying for my classes why is this lady taking my food, we are in a college why can I not deliver food. To leave on a good note the front office ladies are the sweetest they were always so kind and understanding with me!!

Gabriel H The Welding program has very high quality equipment but there was no sense of urgency when putting the class together. Students had to sit in a classroom and do virtually nothing as we waited a month for a teacher to be hired. When the teacher did finally get hired the school did not meet the classes needs in certain equipment and took another month to fully set up.
