The Quay Crew I had the privilege of taking a welding course with Mr. Myron Burt, and I cannot speak highly enough about his teaching and expertise. From the very first day, Mr. Burt created a positive and encouraging learning environment. His approach is patient, methodical, and tailored to each student’s skill level, making even the most complex techniques easy to understand. What sets Mr. Burt apart is his genuine passion for welding, which is contagious. He doesn’t just teach the technical skills; he shares the artistry and craftsmanship behind the work. He takes the time to explain not only the “how” but also the “why” behind each process, ensuring that every student grasps the fundamentals and advanced concepts. His hands-on teaching style ensures that you get plenty of practice, and he’s always available to give constructive feedback and guidance. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, Mr. Burt’s personalized attention makes all the difference. I walked away from his course with a deep respect for the trade and confidence in my abilities. If you have the chance to learn from Mr. Myron Burt, do not hesitate. His expertise, patience, and passion for welding make him an outstanding instructor. I feel incredibly fortunate to have learned from such a dedicated professional.

ick lun To begin I loved my professor he is quite literally the most honest professor in this school. His name is Mr.Acosta he is the Applied Cybersecurity teacher and I had the best time in that class I learned a lot from him and not only about cybersecurity but about more in life in general. He is very straightforward with you and he will treat you like an adult, I feel like that’s the best part about him he gives it to you straight. His class could get intense if your not dedicated to wanting to learn but if your motivated then he will know he can see that. The school however I didn’t like at all they don’t treat you like an adult like I am paying for this class with my money… treat me like an adult. I attempted to order food since I didn’t bring any lunch and my brother needed my car the moment it was delivered i grab it and some random women came and took it later i learned she was the assistant principal her name was Dr. Sloan.. I can’t understand why she felt the need to take me food from me but she took it…. she took my mcdonald’s uber eats and said it wasn’t allowed if you know me I am extremely shy and I stood there in disbelief that she just took my food and said I have to pick it up when class was over as if i was a high schooler. I am an adult woman paying for my classes why is this lady taking my food, we are in a college why can I not deliver food. To leave on a good note the front office ladies are the sweetest they were always so kind and understanding with me!!

Gabriel H The Welding program has very high quality equipment but there was no sense of urgency when putting the class together. Students had to sit in a classroom and do virtually nothing as we waited a month for a teacher to be hired. When the teacher did finally get hired the school did not meet the classes needs in certain equipment and took another month to fully set up.

Louis Delgado I have had my two children in for 4 weeks of the summer camp. So far, it has been awesome. They love it they love the people and you get a lot of things for the money that youre spending and your kids are safe which is the most important. I cannot say about the private school but hope that we can get approved for the scholarship to enroll them.

xiomara Sanchez Enrolling my kids in victory seemed like a great idea. My kids went to PM Wells charter school and going to victory was the next step. But it has honestly been a nightmare. All the other parents that have come to leave a review of the school are honestly justified in doing so. My kids would rather go hungry than consume the food that the school offers. So now we have to pack school lunches every day. Kids cannot go to the restroom during their transitioning. Because the school barricaded the entryways for the restrooms. So now kids have to ask while in class for permission to use the restroom, interrupting their learning time in the classroom. But good luck having the teachers give you permission to use the restroom as most do not allow their students of being able to use them and if they do, they’ll put a time limit on restroom usage. Some of the administrators and teachers also seem to have a preferential hierarchy for students. With some students receiving special treatment above others because “ they’ve been here longer, they’ve been with us since elementary school”.  Although favoritism I know does exist. It should not exist in the treatment of one student to the other. In speaking to my kid, I found out that the principal of the school told the female students that they should shave their legs when wearing shorts to school and it’s a sign of disrespect if you don’t. The school does not make those type of decisions for my child, I do. If my child wants to wear shorts, as long as they’re an approved length for the school they should be able to do so, especially in the Florida heat!  And if that’s a requirement for female students, it should be a requirement FOR ALL STUDENTS! One of my biggest issues with the school is that although I know the school sits in a primarily Hispanic area, not all the students that attend know Spanish. And unfortunately, not all the teachers know or are fluent in English. My child’s educational progress should not be hindered by a teacher’s lack of fluency in English and inability to communicate with their students. Another issue of mine is their lack of Educational legitimacy. How is my child supposed to learn when all they do is look at an iPad screen without any type of teacher assistance or instruction? They rely solely on Khan Academy or reading plus. Their instructional videos come from YouTube and I have sat down with my child and try to help them with their homework and that has been my experience. There are several ways for people to learn and some students do not learn by looking at a screen. They need one on one help from teachers. Other students might need additional help and the school severely lacks that assistance for our students. I honestly feel one of the biggest mistakes I have made from an educational standpoint for my children has been enrolling them in victory charter school. I really did think it would be a continuation of what PM Wells was offering. But unfortunately, for me and my children it has been the complete opposite. I wholeheartedly feel a standard traditional public school Education will be completely beneficial for my children and their future in academia.

jajaj jaj One of the worst schools ive sent my child to. When i tell you this school is so unorganized they have no organization whatsoever they send emails 1 week prior to events. Recently they have changed the uniforms not considering the parents much less the email and text us parents when school is about to start?! claiming we must purchase the cheap expensive uniforms off there website. Not considering what some parents might be going through the audacity to all of a sudden go from regular jeans to school uniform that has to be purchased from them .. Dont get me started on the school food my child has gotten food poisoning two separate times from there rancid lunches feeding these children stale chips expired milks and even water fountains that don’t even work. Lets talk about this bathroom thing all of a sudden they put gates on the entrance of the bathrooms and students arent allowed to use the bathroom during transition the first ten and last ten minutes of class?? how dare these people try to control the body of a young kid. My child has been denied using the restrooms multiple times by teachers saying they shouldve went at a different time who are you to tell my child when they shouldve used the bathroom?!! Lets not talk about how disrespectful and sarcastic the staff members are they expect respect from students but cant do bare minimum and show the littlest amount for these poor children then call us parents phone to make up a whole story on how the child is acting smh.. DONT SEND UR KIDS HERE UNLESS U WANT CONSTANT COMPLAINTS AND BOTHERS TRUST ITS NOT WORTH IT.

Tina Sylva This is THE best daycare/learning center in Kissimmee. My daughter has been attending since she turned 1 and she will be 2 soon. They communicate very well they treat kids as their own. The don’t have video access which would be great but picture updates are always great. The tuition is just right you will feel good investing in this daycare the kids are always clean. Mrs. Maria has activity’s for the kids and appreciates her staff. Her office is in the center of the facility so she can over see all classes. Don’t let location fool you she has camera everywhere and great security in regards to getting your child. The center is vibrant and her staff are alll welcoming and super nice. I plan to kept my daughter here until kindergarten. I feel so good leaving my daughter here I don’t feel anxious at all leaving her she loves going and it warms my heart that my daughter loves being here. I see this center growing and expanding many blessings.

Milton Hernandez We loved it at Discoverers, Ms. Marias energy and caring has been great the whole time as well as all the other teachers. My son loves going to daycare, hushed us away, and closes the door behind us when he gets there. He was always crying and not happy to stay at other daycares and this was huge for us to see him happy and having fun at his daycare. Highly recommend!

April Forney Look, over all this school isnt bad I will say the bullying is like any other school that is Kissimmee. Doesnt help they brought a bunch if bad kids from Kissimmee middle school. You guys always want to blame the school or the teachers but what about the parents of the kids who are the bullies they are not doing anything to punish them or get them help if they are going through something. I do think some of the teachers they have had were not all the great since my daughter has been going to this school. Parents please keep an eye on your kids like dont just expect they are an angel at school . This school is trying their best but understand that the parents are suppose to be their support.

whikey sponger5 Very bad school They deserve negative stars. This school is the worst. No call back. communication is zero . They don’t like when kids require more attention. IEP or 504 plans. Don’t even bother them with the extra work. I Feel bad for the kids. My kid has always loved school. Never wants to go to this one. They say they have no fax number. I call BS. And I can’t count the times I get calls about kids that aren’t mine. They just start dialing the phone. My kid has been denied breakfast after getting off the bus. The front office is useless. All they do is talk and put calls on hold. Say sorry we short staffed. They need to get it together. As the semester go on the worse it gets. And to make a complaint I have to call the school board. So many things wrong with the school. Everyone is rude, and clueless.

Devon Booska Well I am a father of a daughter who is just completing kindergarten, her first year of school. She is so excited to start school she loved kinder care to take care she went to for the past 3 years prior to this and she was so happy to begin her new journey at this brand new school! Me and her mother went to meet the teacher and check out the classroom, I substitute show this around a classroom because the actual teacher wasnt even present first day, I apologize if it was something that was tragic that happened but I think I would show up to my first day of work regardless of what happened, anyways. Then they just kept asking for money for every little thing, from being able to wear Crocs to school, they literally charge you $5 child where comfortable shoes to school. That blows my mind. Then Ive had to pick my daughter up twice myself and twice with my wife from school for various reasons two times I came by myself they didnt know who I was didnt have me in the catalog for someone thats able to pick her up I had to wait for about an hour to get it approved and get proper paper sent over from her mother verifying that Im the father even though we have the same last name. So then the second time that I went everything should have went just fine but once again they said that my name wasnt in the system when I just went through the exact same issue as I did previously and they were just ignoring me at the front office talking to each other back and forth and looking at their phones it was so disrespectful and rude I felt like I was unwanted and no one cared this slightest bit that I needed to get my daughter. There has been numerous incidences of my daughter getting involved in people fighting her fighting with her all kind of stuff and shes not a bully I promise you that, I think that they just need less kids in each classroom or more guidance or something has to change cuz Ive never had such a bad situation in a school in my life. But shes just about to graduate tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. is her ceremony and Im going there with my wife meeting other hair but I dont think that my daughters going to be attending the school next year Thats for sure because theres not much good about it except for that its new. Oh and get whole first week of her being at school which is also mind-blowing to me they didnt tell my daughter how to use her number or teach her how to get food from the lunch line they just door to the bulls and she didnt eat anything for 4 days except for the snacks that we packed her. I literally emailed the teacher, called, my wife told the front office when she dropped her off. My daughter is such a sweet little girl that she wont complain about anything but when I asked her what she ate at school she said I hate the lunch that you packed me I said that wasnt your lunch baby that was your snack you have money in your account for your lunch. Im glad that at least I overdo it when I crack her lunch where its almost like a lunch by itself but still.... Sorry I just need to let other people know that this is not the place that I would bring my child or recommend to anybody else just saying ..

Mari Algarin My son was attending Pleasant Hill Academy in Poinciana for 3 years. Since the year started my son was experiencing bullying on a weekly basis. My expectations of a private school was shattered. The communication level at the school is literally dismissive to say the least. After much thought and wanting the best for my son I decided to put him back to a public charter school. To my surprise the administration wanted me to pay a $500 fee for terminating an early withdrawal, of which I felt if the school would have been doing there due diligence. My son nor I would have to go through this ordeal. I would NOT RECOMMEND this school at all!!!!!!

Grace Weir They treat big families on fair they do not give you your credits if you ask for them for your credit, they will not give it to you but they say they would they say they have a good helping program to help you with your credits but they don’t. It took the kids the whole year just to get seven chapters through. They lost like three teachers and never replaced them. The kids always leave the school early because there’s no transportation it’s always broken there’s kids smoke and vape in the bathroom and they don’t suspend them they have a really bad math system and really bad Elective system the kids didn’t do half of the electives for half the school year overall the school is very unfair to bigger families. They will pick on them and point them out. The staff in office are really rude

Spencer Rivera I attended this school and it is where I graduated from and I have to say it was not professional at all. If you look through the five star reviews on here, you’ll find that a lot of them come from the principal and her family/employees, not from students and parents. I feel like I’ve learned more on my own than I ever learned from this school.

(26) Reviews New Beginnings Education Center:

Yamaris Rodriguez My son ended up in that school. From what hes told me, its like jail. Every single day, at least one fight, usually more, they take other kids food, and everyone turns a blind eye. They have said that sometimes they lock them in the bathroom to fight (to blow off some steam) not every student that goes there is a good kid and also nit every student is bad and those who have nothing to lose prey on the ones that have an option to get better and go back to regular school. They will instigate and try to force the kids to fight, or they threaten them to jump them. My daughter has met kids from there, and they all told her how that school changed them for the worse because of all the abuse they have to see and experience. I dont even understand why or how?? Its sad these kids just cant tell anyone what they are going through because they are afraid that they will get jumped. Afraid to not fight because they will get jumped. This is a school, not prison! Schools like this should not exist. Ive spoken to therapists, psiquiatrists, and other parents, and we all agree that schools like this one should not exist. They dont help kids they make them worse! Their lesson is how to get better at being bad. They vape in front of the teachers, etc... better have your kids online school than sending them here.

Amed B TRY NOT TO COME TO THIS SCHOOL DO YOUR BEST DONT DO DRUGS ALCOHOL ETC.. new beginnings is a very good school people come in here for several reasons. the teacher and school securities are very strict you should always be in dress code and dont disrespect the staff if you follow the rules and accomplish the 4as you will be alright. its a very great school but try not to come because you dont have the advantages that you have in regular schools.

Jade This is a great school in my opinion. I was there for my 10th grade year and this school really tries to help you get ahead in your education, as long as you put in the effort they will help you. The teachers are for the most part good just don’t be disrespectful of course. This school isn’t like a normal public school tho if you are disrespectful to the teachers they will be the same way back to you, it’s pretty hard to get in trouble, and most of the staff are nice and cool with the students. The only thing bad per se would be the dress code but even if you’re not in it all the time they won’t really say much anyways. Also it’s a really entertaining school because of all the fights which makes it fun. Overall great school especially if you are trying to get ahead.

Bryan Groff This school is not a perfect fit for everyone as is clearly explained to all incoming students and parents by administration. They do have rigorous admissions and behavioral/academic/attendance standards. However, for families that are looking for a safe, small, faith-based school with staff who go far above and beyond their regular work duties, and who take education and Christian values seriously, this is absolutely the place. Admins and staff all know each child’s name, their families, and give each student personalized academic attention and support. There are weekly chapel services. This is the right school for families looking for true Christian spirit and high standards.

The school also has lots of fun activities throughout the year, and makes learning exciting.

Faiza Khan As a parent, this school has a good Islamic foundation which we appreciated, but it lacks any academic curriculum or teachers. The students do IXL Learning on their own with no specialized teachers to help them on any subjects. My niece and son went to this school and even they did not feel like they learned anything of substance. As young students, they need teachers for specific subjects that can guide them and teach them, but instead they have to teach themselves through an online platform. You’re better off applying for FLVS and putting them in a part-time Islamic school. I think the school needs more qualified staff and a larger budget to be able to fix things. May Allah make it easy on the staff and the creators of the school, as I am sure they have good intentions, but the school needs a lot of work still.

Sarah Brown I cant say enough good things about Beezos Montessori Academy. My child has only been going here for a month, and I’m already seeing such positive changes. He’s learning so much and comes home excited to tell me all about his day. The school itself feels very safe and secure, which is so important. Every staff member we’ve met has been kind, friendly, and genuinely caring. I also love that the food they provide is healthy and nutritious—it’s clear they put a lot of thought into what the kids eat. It’s been a great experience so far, and I’m really happy with how things are going. Highly recommend!

F Torres My grandson is 4 yrs old. Attended Bezos and we recently had to take him out because at 4 he’s expected to be able to take instructions not learn how to take instructions. He hit a teacher a couple of times apparently for no reason yes he was wrong for that but isn’t a toddler there to learn these things so when he enters pre school he’s experienced and understands then to follow instructions? He was suspended for a month. A 4 yr old out for a month how does this help the child? I know my grandson if he’s acting a certain way there’s something behind it. I don’t understand how you expect a just turned 4 yr old to know how to follow rules and instruction when THATS WHAT HE’S THERE FOR! Makes no sense at all. Bezos dealt with this poorly and made my family and grandson feel unwanted and a certain way
