Carlos Puig Avoid this place!! I have been waiting for my appointment with Alejandra Guevara Mendez (Urologist) for over a month and half and finally received some forms several days ago to speed the process checking in and charge ahead to my credit card to speed check in. With under 24 hours until my appointment, Carrie, from the office, called me to tell me than they needed to reschedule my appointment.. When I ask her, well can you get me there like now or today so Doctor Alejandra goes do whatever she need to do she replied no. The reschedule day was nearly 2 weeks later. When I asked why the change was necessary this late, Carrie said to me, verbatim: "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS" when I replied "WTF" Carrie said to me she is going to hang the phone because I am swearing and being rude and my reply to her was "ME"? ? "None of your business" is pretty much the rudest reply possible. Making the long history short; -Health First: your staff can benefit from some education training on customer service. There are plenty of places I can go. Alejandra Guevara Mendez: You should not cancel an appointment with in a day. You may get me in the day before or try to accommodate me a time not another 9 days after waiting almost 2 months because you didnt know you have some training. If the situation was reversed and I cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment, I would be charged. IN FACT, I was already charged. I hope the call was recorded and will be reviewed to verify my account. 09/24/24 10:20am to 10:25am approximately.

Laura Mccarthy I was a patient of Dr Quanders 4 years ago. I even wrote a review here. I had nothing to complain about. She was professional. Now, my brother is her patient and I will be following through with him every step. I will write reviews as needed. I called her office today to find out biopsy results and had to leave a message. I am waiting for a call back. That is acceptable to me since I know they are busy. Updates to come.....I have faith my call will be returned today.

Melissa Crapser Two years ago, Dr. Quander called me from her car phone. I didn’t see her again until the procedure room at the hospital. Two years later, I have an Endo and colonoscopy saw her for literally 1 min. and asked me in the OR if I wanted the endoscopy. I said your PA suggested it so I’m assuming I need it. I told her I was not aware it was a choice. She goes. Oh OK. Not knowing anything about me I don’t even feel confident she read my chart. That was the last time I saw her. never spoke to my husband and told him what went on post procedure, which is unacceptable. Had complications post colonoscopy, The operator got ahold of the hospitalist at the hosp., told the operator to have me come into the ER, still no call from Dr. Quander….called office manager, told her I needed info. on what was done, and have questions. She said they would see about it at the office, The PA’s name isn’t even on the recording for her even working there. so it’s secondhand info. whether you need a procedure or not. Ended up in the ER that night, bleeding after a colonoscopy is never good and the triage nurse was the one that told me what had been done in same day 2 hrs. prior. No word from Dr. Quander following up since I had complications after the procedure. Very, very poor way to deal with the patient with questions.

Anthony La Porta Ivy, the TMS technician, was out of this world. The treatments were very good, I would recommend anyone who is feeling like medications aren’t doing anything to give TMS a shot. I feel empowered and ready to live the life I only dreamed was possible a couple of months ago. You deserve this, do it!

Teresa Main Highly recommend Victoria Pospisil...I have struggled with mild depression and anxiety for years and seen various therapists with some success. I moved to Melbourne Beach and found Victoria Pospisil and it has changed my life. She listens attentatively, she tells me what I need to hear (not what I want to hear), she helps me make sense of stuff and figure out solutions that I am capable of, and she points out my progress. She is amazing and my life is so blessed by her presence. She is busy (arent all mental health counselors today) and sometimes late for an appointment (arent we all) but she shows up and is fully engaged. The few minutes I might have to wait are not deducted from my time with her. I have seen many therapists and for me, Victoria Pospisil is the best.

David Jones I have had good experiences with them, they have an Amazing staff, great Doctors and nurses, but I have also heard of others falling through the cracks of this Monopoly. The bureaucracy is the problem, not, in my experience, the staff. The monopoly that Health First has on Brevard has caused them to get lazy, could be a week before test results are delivered, a severe disconnect between Doctors and patients, so much bureaucracy and scheduling problems that this whole hospital system fails to do what my previous family practitioner could do in 25% of the time, hours on hold, only running banking hours, could be a full week before you can see anyone, and theyre occasionally rude about it... Healthcare options arent this limited in other areas...Bring competition back to Brevard and end this Monopoly of Over scheduled and under serving Doctors.

Hannah McQueen t really takes a lot for me to post a negative review. I am much more oriented toward leaving positive reviews and building people/businesses up. However, my recent experience warranted warning others about. I went into my visit after being sick with flu-like symptoms for five days, during which time I was unable to do anything but sleep, be sick, and hydrate. I missed a lot of work hours, which I currently really need, and have hardly been able to take care of any "real life" stuff around the house. After waking up on the fifth day and realizing I was not getting any better, I decided I needed to go to urgent care. When I showed up, I was the only person in the waiting room. The front desk girl was talking about her personal problems with a coworker and, when a woman came in requesting her husbands medical records, the front desk girl said she did not know where she put them. This should have been my first clue. After waiting for 45 minutes, I was finally showed to a room. (Again, I was the only person there.) The practitioner who came to see me (after another 15-20 minutes) didnt even look at me before saying, "Nice to meet you," which is funny, because just a month ago she turned me away because she was incapable of stitching up my bleeding finger. I told her my experience, and she said she would prescribe me a pill to "control the symptoms." Exhausted, in physical discomfort, and deeply aware that "controlling symptoms" is not a cure for something that was probably very curable, I requested that she perform some sort of test to shed a little more light on the situation. I had already been taking over-the-counter medications and doing "everything right" in terms of resting, hydrating, eating bland foods, etc. She made me feel unreasonable for requesting this, but sent someone to draw blood anyway. She also told me she would write me a prescription for something stronger than OTC medicine. Shout out to Adam, the tech who did a great job seeing me as a human while drawing blood. After they took blood, I went to the pharmacy. The pharmacy said they did not receive the Rx. Nothing too unusual about that, as I had just left the clinic, so I decided to wait a few hours. I went to the pharmacy the first thing in the morning the next day and the doc still hadnt sent over the prescription she had promised to send. I called the office, and spoke to the front desk girl (same one as the day before). She told me she was looking through my chart, and that there was no record of the practitioner sending anything to the pharmacy, and that she saw that I had "been a problem" for the practitioner. (While I definitely expressed my disappointment that the practitioner was not interested in helping me find the root of my illness but rather wanted to superficially prescribe me a lateral move Rx for managing my symptoms, I also did apologize if I came across as harsh and explained it was because I was on my last leg, physically, mentally, and emotionally--AS IVE BEEN EXTREMELY ILL.) She was no help whatsoever, and basically said she couldnt do anything because the practitioner from the day before (I believe her name is Kelly) was not in and therefore could not send the prescription. When I did not concede to this as a final answer, I was put on the phone with Amina (?) who said she would put me through to the practitioner on duty. The reason I am giving two stars instead of one is for Jill, the doctor who actually looked at my circumstances, followed through with sending a prescription, and clarified that my results showed that yes, I am indeed fighting a bacterial infection that needs medication in order to go away. She was extraordinarily patient with me and understanding of my poor experience with the negativity at the front desk and the lack of follow through with the other practitioner. If you are in need of medical care, dont waste your time at this location with anyone, unless Jill is working. The whole "do no harm" thing seems to be taking a back seat to what is convenient and easy for most of the staff.

Erica Cioffi From the moment I walked into the ED department of Palm Bay hospital I had a warm friendly welcome. My RN Kimberly that took care of me is kind, warm compassionate and caring. She listened to me, and wanted to get down to the route of the problems and symptoms I was having. She gave me alot of insightful advice, she made sure she was diligent and checked me on me multiple times throughout my visit. Asking if I needed anything. When she gave me my ultrasound results she teared up with me telling me I have a pregnancy that was viable after having multiple miscarriages. She is a sweetheart, and an angel sent from above who really cares and takes pride in her work. I am so grateful to have had her as my nurse. Thank you 1,000 times Kimberly for all you’ve done for me! ❤️❤️❤️
